Mine has to be Alice in Wonderland (1951) I love the surreal nature and the madness. Anyone else like Disney?

Especially not by that Tim Burton fellow. He ruined Wonderland for me.

Cinderella Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Sleeping Beauty
Walt Disney must have been used as a ceiling fan up in heaven as he`s spinning in his grave at what Tim Burton did to Alice in Wonderland. And I bet he`s not best pleased at what his Disney brand has become.

I love a bit of Alice me. My daughter loves it too and every year I try to convince her to have a Mad Hatter's tea party for her birthday purely so I can dress up as the Queen of Hearts, but she's having none of it. I have a Pinterest board for it and everything. Might have to save that idea for my own birthday one year instead

Dumbo... They better not ever remake that... One of the only films that is guaranteed to make me sob buckets, every time it gets to the ' Baby Mine' scene But then the 'Pink Elephants' scene follows it and that cheers me right up! It's a toss-up up between Hercules and The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, for me. Honourable mentions to Aladdin and The Lion King though; saw TLK on stage a year or so ago and it was bloody spectacular!

Its gorgeous isn`t it. Lady W I agree about the Baby Mine song. In fact after watching that scene I cry so much I have never seen the rest of it. So today was the first time I had ever watched the end of Dumbo.

The Aristocats. I love cats so loved that film as a kid. Had the soundtrack (on LP! how ancient do I sound?) and must have drove my parents mad singing all the songs in the back of the car. To be fair to them though they encouraged me even though I can't sing so must have sounded like a cat being swung about by it's tail. Bless 'em Of course there was The Jungle Book too. Also Cinderalla and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. MrLJnr was mad on Pinocchio - a film I never took to but he loved it. And the Lion King which was out when he was little. Miss L was mad on The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. My mum has always been mad on all things Alice in Wonderland so I was taken to the cinema a lot to see it as a kid (didn't mind, I enjoy it). She liked Alice so much that when she was a kid she decided she didn't like her (rare and unusual) name and decided everyone had to call her Alice. Kids would come knocking at the door asking if Alice was playing out and my gran didn't know who they were on about lol! And Dumbo - she is elephant mad and her house is full of them! (not real ones, ornaments, pictures etc lol!) MrLSnr? Loves the lot of them lol! Great big softie who used to love watching them with the kids pretending he was doing it for their sakes

Great to see some Alice fans.
I am still waiting for her at the tea party.
But she never shows up.

The classics from Walt Disney's era are my favourite.
* Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (the first film I ever watched) * Pinocchio * Dumbo * Bambi * Sleeping Beauty
I do like the later films though, such as The Fox and the Hound, The Lion King and Lilo and Stitch.

Bambi. Especially the bit where the little bastard gets shot.
