Was it on here or DS that I read that Danny Baker might be the late entrant because of of his health problems (just beaten cancer) so wouldn't have been able to do the physical entrance? If he does go in we'll probably find he's exempt from a lot of the trials too. They must be hoping that his wit and chat will be enough to entertain!

OMG what a wuss Adam from ED is smiley-biglaugh He's never going to live that down, I'm still laughing at now. As soon as he gets back to work they'll be leaving plastic (or real) spiders all over to frighten the crap out of him lol! You could see that Joel was getting very impatient with him but he did well not to crack.
Carol and Scarlett did really well in the eating challenge, made it quite funny. I don't blame Carol for not eating that live scorpion or whatever it was smiley-yikes
Speaking of Carol she looks much better fresh faced in the jungle than she did with all the slap on.

Only watched half an hour of this last night, found it pretty boring tbh. I'd like to call Adam a geet big girl's blouse, but I'm terrified of spiders as well.
Danny Baker has a high opinion of himself though, as well an opinion on everything else, so he might create a bit of tension. Hopefully. My old mam tells me that Martin Roberts gadgy is a smug git too. I can't say I'd ever heard of him.

I hate the little blighters too but these ones were in no way little, they were enormous! And one jumped! smiley-yikes I'd have ran so fast out of there that I'd have ended up back in Blighty smiley-biglaugh But Adam's screaming, jumping and crying out was hilarious smiley-biglaugh He was making so much noise the other two guys right away from the hut were wondering what the hell was happening in there lol!
But yes they're getting on a little too well at the mo, and although we like that at the beginning it's the frictions that keep it interesting so let's hope that the newbies stir it up a bit.

Snakes, rats, etc, I'm fine with Lotts, but see a spider and I'm stood on the settee screaming for the missus to come and get him. The dog chases them too, which makes them run, which frightens me even more. I'm a very brave man.

LOL at you big feardies...... I speak to the ones that come in the house before I carefully catch them and put them outside. Many years ago, me and bessie-mate shared a house, and we were both equally terrified of spiders. Whenever we'd see one, we'd spend half an hour stood on the settee arguing who's turn it was to kill it.

Spiders bring luck, kill one at your peril.

Ha. Those settee arguments were legendary. We'd be offering each other all sorts for the other to take "our turn" for us. Money, doing chores, the last beer, anything.
I leave the plug in the bath after cleaning it too, I'm so paranoid about the buggers.
I dread September every year, aka 'Spider Season.'

I think I want Kiosk Keith's voice on my Sat-Nav.
I've got Mr. T at the moment, but I'm getting a bit bored now of ... "Take the second exit on your left fool."

Hopefully Danny & Martin will have been chosen and directed to ruffle a few feathers. The 'love in' is starting to get boring........

I haven't watched this show in years but decided to give this year a go. I'm really enjoying it. I pretty much like everyone so far and am even enjoying it being a love-fest.
Can't believe how much the format has stayed the same since I last watched.
Any bets for the winner at this stage? I reckon that Wayne bloke stands a fair chance but it'll probably be Scarlett in this current climate. People will want to stick it to the 'lefty celebrity elite' smiley-biglaugh

Well I for one am glad that the producers have notched things up a bit with the latest trial and put a cat amongst the pigeons. Well done Danny's team, what a whitewash! I have never seen or heard of Martin before but I have my doubts about him. Common sense tells you that you have to eat to keep yourself functioning regardless of whether it is simple rice and beans. I would hate it too but would force myself to eat. Stupid man.........
