As you know I hate this programme with a passion and you'd have to tie me down and gag me if I was made to watch it. I'm glad it is not taking up every night on ITV as before but I have been reading about this Kim. Not a very nice person I believe by all accounts . She is hateful Loup! -face

I'm not making excuses for Kim's behaviour but I'm wondering if it stems from the terrible abuse she suffered from her mother and first husband? (who was a police inspector, when she rang the police for help they did nothing to stop him and stuck by their own. 'twas the 70's). So now she's determined that she's never going to be treated like that again so comes out fighting at anything she sees as a threat - real or imagined?

I know nothing about her apart from watching " How clean is your house "' I think it was called and also read that the two presenters have had a bitter feud and not spoken for years. Life's too short, Kim. Get over yourself.
I am not passing judgment here because I don't know enough about her but is it possible that she could be prone to exaggeration about her youth and abuse. She does seem to like the limelight. She is a diva.
All this hype is just so much bunkum I'm afraid and I refuse to be enticed into watching. That is what all that is about. Pulling in more viewers and they are achieving their aim big time. Not me. I'll read stuff but I won't be another viewer just to watch people rowing. Cynic, moi ? Probably.

It's always possible she's exaggerated but I doubt it as much of what she put in her auto biography doesn't paint her in the best light. For example, she fell pregnant in the 69s, the father walked out on her, and when the baby was still born at approx 26 weeks when she was on her own, at home, she didn't know what yo do so buried him in a local park in the middle of the night. Hard to believe anybody would make that up.
She was, according to her, emotionally and physically abused by her Mother throughout her childhood. When she went to her father for help (her parents lived apart), he sexually abused her. Then there was domestic violence in Her first marriage.
I don't like her at all but I do think it has all left her very hurt, angry and defensive.

Much of what Kim says is true but nobody is ever going to listen to her with that manner. When calm, she comes across as patronising,, when angry she is, as I think Butterball said, demented!
Jessica always struck me as being somewhat mentally fragile on The Apprentice. She was so up and down on that I wondered whether she perhaps had Bi Polar. But this is on a whole other level. Was she like this at the House during their leisure time? If she was, I really feel for the other candidates.
I've decided Chloe is actually not too bad when she is sober. But her advances to Calum are cringe worthy. As is her "I saw him first, he belongs to me" attitude.

Well I have an open mind about Kim and her past. I always quite liked her but as I said this appearance on CBB has not done her any favours. Not sure whether I buy all this abuse either as it seems very fashionable now to cry that you were beaten/abused/mistreated by your parents/ex husband etc etc. I see the dreadful Danielle Lloyd is coming out the woodwork obviously trying to milk her ex-husband's 15 minutes of fame. I also thought James C a bit precious over not wearing the lycra yesterday, if you or your agent had bothered to do any homework and not just seen the pay cheque, you know that on Big Brother you will have to don stupid outfits at one time or another, he seems to consder himself "above everyone else. Bianca is just a gormless vacant bore but as she is pretty harmless and one to probably never get nommed, I reckon she will be this year's undeserving winner.

I've just watched the 'Kim' episode on Catch-up, my God Kim's got a gob on her hasn't she? She will not back down!
Obviously I haven't seen what led up to this but is there any truth in what Kim's saying? Any things happened that could leave her to believe that she's being victimised? And why does she hate 'Nicole' so much? (height of bad manners continually getting someone's name wrong). Has she done anything to her previously?
Or is it all in her head?
Stacey's screeching was doing my head in! Is she always like that?
Who'da thought that Chloe Ferry would be one of the less annoying ones in there lol! (at least in this episode)
And I still think that Jamie is an idiot squaring up to an old woman like that. He's going on about her attacking 'young girls' (as if, they're grown women) while he happily goes for a granny! What a prat.
I'm the first to say that I'm not a fan of Callum Best who seems to have nothing going for him except his surname and half-decent looks, but could he possibly have deliberately stirred the pot calling Kim into the room? He sounded slightly piss-taking to me but it could just be the way he talks. But of course Kim didn't have to answer the way she did going on about the horrible effing people she's in there with!
The fight over the sliding doors is one of the most childish things I've seen on BB and THAT's saying something (just started watching the next episode in case you're wondering what I'm on about lol!).

Well I was glad Chloe was voted out as I found her frankly repulsive. Who the hell is voting for the sour faced bitchy moaner, Coleen. Kim has suddenly become very quiet and I am surprised, as I think was she, that she didn't go last night. Its on for another TWO weeks when I think just another week would have been more than enough. I dont think I can stand any more of Stacey's constant SCREECHING about one thing or another, its now becoming tiresome.

I'm glad Chloe has gone too as she was just a complete embarrassment IMO. Thick as s***e!
Colleen coming top in the save vote was no real surprise given who she was up against.
As for Kim (the Jesus of CBB) ............ she sure has toned it down dears, lovies etc. etc. Which goes to show it was all game play for the first week. It will be interesting to see how she fares this week.

I've only just started watching it but I've seen Chloe's antics in the online newspapers and yes, I'm glad she's out too. If a male housemate had rubbed his bare arse onto some female in the same manner he'd have been out regardless of whether John/Edward complained (in fact if they don't complain it might be worse as it could be they're feeling intimidated, even bullied - not saying that's the case in this instance).
I was going to say she's embarrassed herself over Callum Best but I think she's incapable of being embarrassed, she seems to have no pride which is actually a shame.
As for that lap dance and stripping off all the time - borrrrrrring! free-rolleye-smileys-323
I don't think there's any malice in her but at the same time (puts on Mary Whitehouse hat) I hate that she could be a role model for girls out there; that stripping off, throwing yourself at men and generally being as thick as mince is something to look up/aspire to. I agree with Coleen, she's everything you wouldn't want your daughter to be!

Yep, not sorry to see the back of Chloe. She was okay when sober but that wasn't very often and her antics were gross, to borrow James' word.
Any male housemate would have been kicked straight out for behaving the way she did and it is really sad thst some young girls see her as a role model.
I really don't like Nicola. Kim is going way ott but Nicola is a nasty piece of work and Staceys screeching is getting old.
Gid help me, I'm actually finding Jedeard quite endearing and funny! I wouldn't want to live with them but watching is fine.

I agree re Nicola, I think she's a bit of a sly one. It was interesting hearing what said with people who had or hadn't pressed the buzzer such as Jessica who she was convinced would have, it all seemed a bit 'off'. It was like a compliment and an insult at the same time - (WTTE of) "well I thought you definitely would of pressed that buzzer cos you wanna win but good for you that you didn't" which to me was nice wording for: "I thought you were a desperate wannabe and I still do but good for you for making it look like you're not" lol! Then her slithering up to Stacey and saying "I just wanna tell you now that I said you would press that buzzer" AKA "I'm telling you very nicely to your face what I was saying about you behind your back but I'm saying it so nicely and so reasonably that you'll look like the bitch if you kick off". I suppose you've got to hand it to her, she's playing a good game but personally I wouldn't trust her as far as I can chuck her.
Re Jessica and Stacey. Although I cannot stand that mammoth gob on Stacey (and thinking she's won because she shouts loudest) I could see what she meant regarding Jessica's 'I'm ever so virtuous, I didn't press the buzzer' mantra. Whether Jessica meant it or not she was making herself out to be holier than thou and all that talk of 'character' made it look like she was looking down on people who did. I understand that Jessica probably meant behaving to her own standards/values and she's not too bothered about other people and theirs so wasn't necessarily having a dig, but if I'd been listening to her I might have got a bit impatient eventually too. At the end of the day Jessica had an easy one, she knew that James wouldn't press that buzzer didn't she? Makes you wonder what she'd done if it had been someone else?
I used to wonder who'd have the bad taste to marry a horror like Danielle LLoyd, well know I've got my answer - Jamie - and he's just as unlikeable IMO.

Speaking of Jedward, I laughed myself silly at how outraged Jamie (and was it Callum?) were at Jedward jumping on James's bed when he'd been evicted, you'd think James had died the way those plonkers were talking!

Yes, how very dare they show their happiness at not only being kept on by tgehe public but over a man who had made his dislike and contempt for them clear?!

Speaking of "how very dare you", that is who Kim reminds me of when she starts ip eith the "they won't beat me, dear" on that soft, patronising voice.
You know who I mean, Catherine Tates character who won't admit he's gay?
