So, as the title says, who are your favourite characters on US TV? It can be more than one character.
You don't have to order them numerically or anything, just list your favourites.
Okay's here my list:
Walter White (Breaking Bad) Saul Goodman (Better Call Saul) Jack Bauer (24) Michael Scofield (Prison Break) Sawyer (Lost) John Locke (Lost)

Faith, Buffy - Good or bad, she was such a fun, 'zesty' character and her story arc was brilliant! Daryl, TWD - Doesn't really need explaining... Negan, TWD - I know he's meant to be evil psycho villain, but he's so bloody hilarious! I love him Jerome, Gotham - Fabulously Joker-y and just thoroughly entertaining; never a dull moment with him!

Roger Smith and Peter Griffin.
The former is probably the best TV character ever.
Other than that, and apart from Columbo who I also think is great, I don't watch any American programmes. I don't like Yank telly as a rule.

Apart from local news and weather occasionally, I can honestly say without exaggeration that there isn`t any new show or series that I watch on the telly here. It`s mostly British or Australian that I watch online. And even the three DVD`s I got from Netflix last weekend are Australian.

It pains me to say it, but I just can't enjoy UK shows the same way I enjoy the US shows; even though the tiresome American propaganda and painful stereotypes in some yanky shows can be off-putting. I wish we could make epic shows like Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones. That's not to say UK TV is bad or anything; I think shows like Sherlock, Luther and Peaky Blinders are very good in their own right.
But there seems to be a general lack of ambition and scale in UK shows, and there's way too many boring costume dramas for my liking. Mind you, Tom Hardy's new TV series Taboo looks great on BBC.

Like Holey mine will have to be retro. I was a great fan of American TV as a youngster but have watched less and less of it as I've grown older.
Starsky and Hutch (Starsky just inches ahead) Huggy Bear Cagney and Lacey (Loved, loved, LOVED these women) Mr Lacey (who on the whole was so understanding of his wife's job at a time when many men wouldn't be) JR Ewing legend! Sue Ellen Ewing (is there a better drunk of TV than Swellin?) Pamela Barnes Ewing (as a kid I thought she was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen) Charlies Angels - only Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd and Farah Fawcett characters though) The Fonz (even tho he was about 50 lol!) Alexis Carrington Colby - brilliantly camp soap bitch lol!
Columbo - ultimate favourite detective. No one does it like Columbo. I still watch it when it's repeated nowadays. Tony Soprano - such a multi-faceted, brilliantly written character.
Watched a recent American programme on Amazon TV called 'Goliath' with Billy Bob Thornton before Xmas. His character was excellent in it.

Columbo's first name is Frank I think, it was said on his ID card once. He is an Italian American.
One more thing, Frank is a common Italian name.
