What know about cars can be written on a drawing pin head, I just see them as something to get me from A to B.
Richard Ayaode is trying to impersonate Richard O'Brien a lot.
Apparently O'Brien and Ed Tudor Pole are related but this has not been confirmed.
An alternative crystal maze which still has the Crystal Dome, would be
Roman Fort. Tudor Village. Modern day Computer Manufacturing Factory. Victorian London Neighbourhood.

Starting to think that them replacing Industrial for Ocean Zone all those years ago was a good move. Industrial was just a pile of corrugated iron walls, railings and oil kegs. Richard O'Brien as far as I know never expanded on this zone like he did the other 3 such as "this is my own factory". Aztec, Future and Medieval were always commented on. When Ocean World took over all 4 were commented on by then as Ocean was a good zone.
Sad that Richard decided to call it a day inbetween filming the 4th series and the 1993 Xmas episode.

Good news fans... The Maze is back on this week, Thursday or Friday I think... But with real people...

They may repeat history and replace Industrial 2 with Ocean World 2 in a series or 2 down the line.
I wonder if this series will last?

The first series was filmed at Shepperton Studios but in a building that was virtually identical to the aircraft hangar used from series 2 to 5. A huge hangar with a sloping roof and the heigh of a 6 floor building was first used, it was H Stage at the studios.

Watched the first two eps now of this series with normal people... Have to say I'm really enjoying it... That Richard is so dry... His sense of humour is right up my street...
He would have been good on Bake Off... Instead of that midget Sandy Toxic... If he'd have been on it I might have watched it...

It is odd that they dont go in a clockwise/anti clockwise way around the Maze, they go from Aztec to Medieval and Industrial to Future World.
The Future Zone looks more like an iPad store.

Good news Maze fans... It's back on this Friday... With a celebrity run... And a new zone called the Eastern Zone...

The Eastern Zone looks like Ocean World, but it was Medieval that was replaced this time, not Industrial.
I hope a 77 year old Richard O'Brien does a cameo again. I doubt he will return as presenter as he is 77, which is nearly 80. He was 48-51 last time so middle aged but still young enough.
Then again age is just a number to most, so rick may still be able to dive through those tunnels at 77.

Love it! Big fan of Richard Ayoade too so that's a plus. Love his dry, sardonic humour.
And you could have knocked me down with a feather when the moany, lazy, gobby, egoist Gemma Collins actually managed to get a crystal *faints* But her boyfriend's put on some weight!!

Arge looked like one of the guys off Trigger Happy... The ones where they are in fat suits... Trying to get in lifts or narrow alleyways...

Still liked Oddball Ricky Smith, aka Richard O'Brien. His birth name is Smith, the commonest surname ever in the UK.
