Can someone explain this to me please? I watched this tonight as Series 1 , Episode 1 and yet you are all talking about having seen a previous series. Is this series a repeat then ? Thought it was brand new. I recognised Eva Myles because of her teeth and couldn't remeber what she had been in . Google her and she was in a series called Frankie which I saw. She had dark hair then . I enjoyed this till the moment she left the children and the baby alone and then the little girl woke up . Not sure now. I found it on the iPlayer earlier this year Loup as it was only shown in Wales back then. I spread the word and a few others like Wendy, Unk and my daughter started to watch. It was labelled as a hidden gem and the number of viewers on iPlayer was so huge that the BBC have decided to put in on at prime time. Stay with it though as I'm sure you will enjoy it. What she did was wrong and it will haunt her but she is a good person deep down inside.

Ah, thanks, Wallis. That's a bit much repeating a whole series at a prime time slot though, IMO.

Big figures for iPlayer are all well and good but have no correlation to the numbers they would get by putting it on at 9pm on BBC1. They aren't really repeating it unless you watched it in Wales or the iPlayer. I enjoyed so much that I'm watching again and that speaks volumes for me.

No matter though as it seems to have gone down a storm according to DS as there quite a number of tweets showing at how well received it has been. It only gets better at it's same pace and beautifully filmed with amazing scenery.

I’m saying that I didn’t realise it was only shown in Wales. No-one said that. Lou....when 'Keeping Faith' first started in Wales - it was Welsh language only. They actually filmed it in both languages Wendy and that was one of the attractions to Eve Myles who was considering giving up acting to train to be a midwife. She's been quoted as saying that this project came around at the right time for her.

I disagree, I grant you it is an awkward one because only BBC Wales have shown it, unless you watched on iplayer, the majority of England and Scotland have not, so there is a valid reason to show this in primetime!
