Another of this excellent series coming onto our screens in July. If you haven't already seen it I can recommend you watch the Box Sets of Series 1 and Series 2 on the ITV hub as they are really worth watching.

I cannot believe none of you gang is watching Unforgotton on ITV on Sundays, one of the best things on at the moment IMHO.

Cracking first two series, really enjoyed them.
Seen the first two episodes of this series and, so far, it's still quality TV. Great writing, acting and production values. I agree bb, one of the best things on the box.
I was particularly moved by the scenes where they rang families of missing girls to find out who had holidayed in Cyprus. Awful thing to have to do and I've never really given much thought to the poor person who has to make those calls and the maelstrom of emotions they must encounter. How carefully will they have to tread. Which is what I like about Unforgotten, it shows us this side of police work too, not just the 'exciting' slapping the cuffs on after a big chase moments.
I really like the pairing of Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar, did I imagine it or was there a 'frisson' between their characters on the second series? If that wasn't my imagination I wonder if they'll go there again?

If that wasn't my imagination I wonder if they'll go there again? I think they shared a kiss Lotty. However, when Sanjeey was talking about the series he said it was a mistake to try and romantically involve them and it wouldn't happen again. I think there is too much focus on the 4 men and it won't be any of them. Always think of identity swaps when twins are involved in any thrillers. I think this is a cracking series and the only moan I have is that there are too many ad breaks.

I don't know about anyone else but I have severe suspicions that the ex-policeman from Middenham is the culprit. If so then what a complete waste of time this series has been.

Agree with you Butterball. I think the twin may be Hayley . Why, I don't know . I agree it is none of the 4, sorry 3, men .

Too obvious to be the doctor, was wondering if it could be the ex wife with the mental issues or another of the ex partners. All will be revealed!

I take it all back, it was the doctor wot dun it after all, and turned out to be a serial killer. I didn't think the end was boring at all. As a senior police officer leading the case she needed to get her emotions in check though. I know people are only human and would be affected by something like this but blubbing through interviews is a no no.

I would have liked more of a twist though and it not being one of the 4 at all. Just someone unexpected. I agree about the blubbing though

I thought the guy that played the Dr. was wonderful. So icy cold with no remorse. The way he stared , unfeeling and unflinching was chilling .

I bulked watched this over a couple of nights, quite enjoyed it. I too thought all 4 blokes were red herrings & suspected it would be the ex copper.
That doctor was a complete psychopath, he reminded me of Charley.
Lastly, I thought Neil Morrissey was excellent in this, probably the best I've ever seen him.

New series on ITVX with a new 'boss' in place of Nicola Walker, not sure about her, not that I was a massive fan of Nicola Walker. On 2nd episode and its good, body found in chimney, who was she and who did her in?

On 2nd episode and its good, body found in chimney, who was she and who did her in? I've watched the first episode and quite enjoyed it but will continue on weekly pace as there's not much else on right now. I like Sinéad Keenan as an actress and I'm sure her and Sonny will begin to respect each other for their individual strengths.
