Again the judges said last night that Karim's jive was the best they had ever seen... What a load of bollox, it wasn't... The best I have ever seen was Max Branning's a few years back... Where he was doing keepy uppies with his partners head with his knees...
Final three as predicted will be Emma, Karim and R-Kel... With Kelvin going onto win... Did I ever mention I taught him all he knows about dancing...?
Tonight in the bottom two for me is... Chris and Karim... Karim has been there before... And most of his fan base will be tucked up in bed at that time of night...

So it's those 3 in the final as we all predicted. Kelvin has to win on ability plus being a really nice chap. Emma will get some votes for being the only female and some stupid EE fans will vote for her however she dances. She should have been out weeks ago as far as I'm concerned. The biggest mistake for me was to boot out Dev Griffin all those weeks ago. He was good and showed more promise than Chris Ramsey.

Aw I liked Chris but it was the right decision. Really enjoyed his and Karen's partnership as they just seemed to have so much fun and it was refreshing watching ITT earlier and not see them not fawning all over each other and crying in their final interview but still just still laughing like proper mates.
Psst! .... between us though I do wonder if they're the 'secret couple' lol! Always the ones you least expect *taps side of nose*
I wonder why Karim isn't getting the support of the public? I thought Emma would have been in the bottom 2 with Chris. I also wonder if she's picking up votes as people might want Anton to win this year after so many years?
Wouldn't surprise me if the glitter ball ends up in his paws next week, you know how sentimental the public can be. I think that's why Stacey won last year, because people wanted Kevin to finally win after being in so many finals.

I record SCD, i don't watch it any more, but just watch Kelvin do his bits (for obvious reasons) I hope Kelvin wins, he genuinely seems nice. He has done well since leaving the Dales being very sucessful in the British GT4, and was the 2019 GT4 Pro-Am Champion. Kelvin has been in the musical the Wizard of Oz as the Tin man and now Strictly. I can see Kelvin going into the West End, I doubt he will go back to Emmerdale. He seems to have got the balance right with a lovely family to boot. I wish him every success, he deserves it. http://instagr.am/p/B53fahgh5r4

Watching last night's It Takes Two and am very disappointed not to see our Chas pop up on Kelvin's loved ones VT reminding everyone that HE taught Kelvin everything he knows. The ungrateful buggers.

You must be so proud Chaz even more so than Kelvin. Their Show Dance was stupendous. Although I felt a bit sorry for Karim cause he was very good too but the best man won IMO.

Delighted for Kelvin and Oti. Their show dance was phenomenal, the only one that made me go 'wow' and sit up!
Not keen on contemporary so wasn't thrilled by Karim's showdance and I thought Emma's was a bit boring for Fred and Ginger. I think Emma was so nervous about dropping the upcoming cane in the routine that it put her off so she made a few errors so IMO Anton should have gone for a more 'wow' dance and left the canes out.
Great final, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well the diminished Strictly 2020 kicks off tonight with the launch show. 12 contestants instead of the usual 16. The live shows will be interesting with a small audience which is no bad thing IMO and social distancing a plenty.

That audience used to do my head in a lot of the time with their incessant clapping to songs, endless standing ovations etc. So I'm now wondering if they, as annoying as they could be, gave it some atmosphere and I'll miss them?
Not the clapping through the dance though, nope, won't miss that. Used to be delighted if a tune was 3 beats so the buggers couldn't clap to it lol!

Well I thoroughly enjoyed last night's show for a bit of escapism in these troubled times. The BBC put a lot of planning into bringing us our much loved Autumn Saturday night show. I liked the pairing VT's which was much better than the normal line them up in the studio rubbish.
Jacqui Smith the first to go. She just looked so wooden and out of her comfort zone. She obviously didn't listen to Ed Balls' advice to her. Maisie Smith can be second out as she is just so up herself it's not real. Quickly followed by Hrvy who is a bit the same. It's good to have confidence but blimey they exude the stuff. When I hear Bill Bailey was appearing this year I thought to myself that he will be a duffer but gladly I think I am wrong. He looked light on his feet and I'm sure his partnership with Oti will be good for him.
I didn't miss Bruno one bit.

I too thought it was an improvement. I liked the way the couples were paired up rather than all that OTTness in the studio. I thought TPTB did really well considering the circumstances and it's great to have it back. The main standouts for me for various reasons: - Business as usual for Anton who's got the duffer again I think my front door is more flexible than Jacqui! - I think I'm going to really enjoy Bill Bailey and he is surprisingly light on his feet. And he's got Oti who's fab-u-lous! - I liked that there was no fuss about the same sex couple (unlike Dancing on Ice). I'm really interested to see Nicola and Katya. - Maisie really loves herself, not a good look to us oldies but the young 'uns who are like her might like it. Some young women make me cringe with their 'confidence' nowadays and Maisie is one of them. There's a thin line between confidence and arrogance (note to HRVY too). If I was Gemma Atkinson I might be inclined to put a chastity belt on Gorka - Jury's out on Caroline Quentin, she has the potential to be annoying but OK so far and I like Johannes. - MrL loves NFL so our eyes are on Jason Bell this year and he seems very enthusiastic. - And Jamie Laing has been partnered with mad Karen this year. She used to drive me bonkers but has really grown on me since her fun pairing with Chris Ramsay last year. Nope didn't miss Bruno at all. Roll on Saturday!

She needs to realise that this is not a Children In Need special and the public root for an underdog who shows promise and gets better as the weeks go on. I've never really warmed to Caroline Quentin and she seems like a bit of a luvvie so she won't be getting my votes. As you say Lotty, roll on Saturday and let's see what they can all do.
