Ungrateful vile hag, they should have left her on the streets.

I liked the scene with her and Jane 'the pain' Beale. One wonders if Cora knows more than she lets on.

I hope its friendlier than DS.
Scrabbler suggested this one to me.
A lot friendlier No idiots over here! I am glad that that wasn't a permanent exit for Cora, it would have been a bit of a damp squib! She needs to come back to keep Patrick company, isn't he the only 'oldie' left now? When Lauren returns she'll have two grandchildren (and a great grandchild) on the square so it's not like she's not nothing to return for. Hi vas you're old Cora comrade in arms, is here to rescue you from Cora-haters and now that I am here have no fear my friend

I find the humour in some of the older women in EE one of its distinguishing features, part of what makes the show great

She is one of my favourite characters and actor and can't wait for her return. She is a class act! I reckon it will coincide with Max's return somehow.

Hi Wallis, Delighted to meet the acquaintance of another Cora fan. I love the dark humour in EE. When I started on DS in April last year I was utterly flabbergasted that episode's were getting slated, that I sat and chortled my way through as if it was an episode of Porridge or Fawlty Towers

I do watch the other 2 main soaps when I can and although I like them to a certain degree they don't match what I consider the best one! There's a certain amount of ridicule to be made on them all but CS especially takes the biscuit.

I have watched most soaps at some point Wallis, EE is the only one I continue with, but used to watch CS, ED, Hollyoaks, Brookside, Neighbours, Home and Away, Sons and Daughters, Prisoner Cell Block -H-, Days of our Lives, As The World Turns , Dynasty, Dallas. Time pressures when I became self-employed forced me to give up telly until I staffed my shops as I have a life limiting illness that now keeps me in the house a lot. Please I don't say that to make people feel sorry for me as I have a wonderful life, do it to explain my position. It's the only reason I discovered the forums, I was far too busy before. I have lived in many fabulous places including Hong Kong with my b/f and his family

I haven't watched nearly as much as you due to time constraints with work and life etc. I have watched EE from its launch and only gave it up during a bad time in my life where I couldn't cope with anything other than my own sorrow. Glad to say I managed to overcome that time and started watching it faithfully again some years ago.
