At last Fletch has problems with the kids and begins to think he's not a very good parent. No, Fletch, going out on the lash as often as you can when your children have lost their Mum only a few weeks ago does make you a crap parent.

I really like Fletch`s oldest daughter Evie...she`s a real sweetheart.
Spoilers for next week
Holby City Spoilers 28th April 2015 Airs Tuesday, Apr 28 2015 at 20:00 BST on BBC One
Mo decides to contact her birth father Clifford, pretending to need his help with some medical research. However, she is taken by surprise when he soon turns up unannounced at the hospital. Mo does her best to make sure that nobody else discovers he is there, but she is called away to deal with a difficult case with the aid of Mr T.
It doesn't take long for Adele to discover who Clifford really is, but she agrees to keep it a secret for now. However, when Clifford discovers the file that Mo has made about it him, he is suspicious and the cat is well and truly out of the bag.
Meanwhile, Zosia and Annabelle become involved with a particularly tricky neuro case of Guy's on the ward. Annabelle reveals that she has been researching a very experimental procedure that may help and it's almost at trial stage. Zosia is inspired by Annabelle's vision and raises the idea of the trial with the patient, but when Guy gets wind of their plan, he vetoes the idea as too risky. Zosia finds herself in hot water for jumping the gun and promising the patient something she could not deliver.
Later, are there more surprises in store for Guy as Serena meets with a tall, shadowy figure outside the hospital?

More Holby City spoilers. Note the day and date, it`s on Monday 4th May
Airs Monday, May 4 2015 at 20:00 BST on BBC One
The staff gather for a major incident briefing and are shocked when Henrik Hanssen makes an appearance as CEO. He rallies the troops, preparing them for an influx of casualties from a May Day march that has spiralled into a riot.
Soon afterwards, Guy is miffed when it becomes apparent that Hanssen has frozen his funding. He also locks horns with Hanssen over the treatment of 12-year old Isla, who is admitted with a suspected spinal cord injury.
Meanwhile, it's Oliver's first day back on Darwin and though Elliot is delighted, Jesse is less enthused. After his recent brush with death and a stint in a field hospital in Mexico, it's clear that Oliver's surgical and bedside skills are rusty.
Oliver doesn't see the need for niceties with colleagues or patients, but he'll need to engage with both in order to get through his first day back on Darwin.
Elsewhere, the major incident means that Fletch has a chance to catch up with Dixie, who brings in a cab driver named Mike. Though injured himself, Mike has been helping with the May Day march casualties. Fletch is under pressure to pay for a school excursion for Evie and though Raf offers to loan him the money, Fletch declines. When Mike tells Fletch about a sure-fire tip he has for the horses, Fletch finds it hard to resist.

Can someone please give me some background info on Oliver please. I haven`t been watching very long so I don`t know who he is. Thanks in advance ♥ Oh okay. He joined as an F1 along with his sister Penny who was a year older in June 2009 and Ollie was assigned to Kellar working under Jac (who was in General surgery back then) whilst Penny was put on AAU, then she had a stint on Darwin, then she went back to AAU. Originally they were portrayed as Penny being keen but having to work for everything whilst Ollie breezed through all his work and was more 'naturally' gifted. After a while though, it transpired that Ollie couldn't really cope and had actually swapped their exam papers meaning he passed a year he shouldn't have and Penny had to repeat - hence them being F1s at the same time when she was older. Soon after Ollie confessed this to her, she was killed whilst at the scene of a major accident. This sent him into something of a tailspin and the only people that know he wasn't properly qualified at that time (he performed the necessary procedures later) were Malick and Hansenn. After his confession, Hamsenn assigned him to Jac to mentor again (Ric, Spence and Connie had got nowhere with him) with the tough love approach and after several months of being very hard on him he genuinely learnt his stuff and became a good Doctor without cheating. He's been on Darwin ever since then and built up a good relationship with Elliot as well as Jac. He was something of a lothario when he first joined, going out with Chrissie Williams, a nurse called Daisha Anderson and even having a one night stand with Jac!?! They toned that down and after a couple of years he fell for a new F1, Tara Lo who turned out to have a brain tumor. They married and he convinced her to have surgery but she died during the operation - as an aside Emma was conceived that night as Jac and Jonny had a brief reconciliation as they were so upset about it. He then fell apart again after her death, drinking too much and even tried to pass Tara's research off as his own to get a CT1 post over Harry. He couldn't go through with it and resigned in June 2013 to 'find himself'. Next time we saw him was last Xmas when he turned up near homeless, a drunk and with a serious heart problem with Elliot sorted with KIBU. Hope that helps.

Yep, that homeless guy was Oliver, or Boy Valentine as us old schoolers refer to him, Penny having been Girl Valentine. My Holby knowledge is pretty good - especially the first 3 seasons and season 8 onwards. Although i kept watching, i very much lost interest seasons 4-7 (Mark refers to them as the HolbyOaks years) and don't have any of it on taped so am hazier on things from them.

When I used to watch HC years ago, Robert Powell was in it playing a character called Mark. But I got fed up of the show when it became the 'Chrissy and her Mother Show', and never watched it again until Fletch became a character.
