Good choice again Lady W! I'm going to have to dig out my old Space CD's now (especially the one that came in a metal box) and get them loaded onto my ipod/phone. I always liked this version of the old Animals song by them: The Animals were local boys made good and Eric Burdon could have been my father. Well, I exaggerate ! He was always making passes at my gorgeous mother, but instead of going for the (to be) millionaire pop star she stayed with my dad, lol! But she was still incredibly flattered the little minx!

You can't beat a nice bit of Abba. Too true UQ! Brings back happy memories of bullying my best friend into doing the moves and pretending to sing with hairbrush Although she cringes even more at the Human League 'dance routines' I used to chinese burn her into submitting to! (I fib, I didn't hurt her. I just used to threaten her with not coming round our house where my good-looking brothers and their even better looking mates were. If given the choice she'd have chosen the chinese burn than miss out on the hunks of burning love! ) And your dog is adorable! Is it a westie? We had one when I was a kid, adored him.

Aww I love Tom Jones! YEAH! (as he tends to do on The Voice) Mind you it's only in the past, say, 10 years that I've appreciated him. In fact when I was a kid I was terrified of him! Honest, he came on the telly and I hid, lol! I think it was all that excess testosterone, very scary. It was the chest wig and gold medallions that freaked me out! Like a gorilla had broken into Argos and raided the Elizabeth Duke!

Bananarama this morning Hadn't listened to them for ages but thought I'd have a bit of nostalgia! I do prefer their earlier stuff to the Stock/Aitken/Waterman era and I particularly loathe 'Love In The First Degree', however you can't go wrong with a bit Venus! Was almost tempted to grab the old hairbrush and pretend to sing along

If I didn't know better I might think I was ever so slightly out of touch these days. I've had Absolute 70s radio on all morning - love it. At the risk of getting drummed out this thread, as a total emo, every time I go out for a walk I am permanently plugged in to Sam Smith.

People are putting what they listened to last week or whilst on their hols By the way on the way into work this morning I too listened to Sam Smith, Life Support. I really love his voice

Ahhh, Poison Arrow's great! Good choice, Lotty! I discovered that one (along with many others) from GTA: Vice City. I credit that game for introducing me to 80s music
