What a complete hatchet job TPTB have done on their characters. I hate this plot and I'm fast going off both of them.

It's a horrible and rather silly story line. I mean who'd bother with Charlie when you've got Aleks

It's a horrible and rather silly story line. I mean who'd bother with Charlie when you've got Aleks It's a strange choice indeed: Successful, well-regarded, entrepreneurial market trader, or bog brush wielding manchild that likes to dress up as a policeman and play pretend in his spare time, not to mention his lack of regard for the sanctity of marriage.

Does anyone know if Aleks wanted to go or was pushed? Wouldn't be surprised if the latter was the case what with EE not being able to recognise a good character even if it is a as blatant as Aleks.

I'd like it if Sean comes back too. Yum! I thought Sean and Roxy made a great couple. I would prefer it if Sean was back now and Roxy and Sean were having an affair we invested in them before as a couple and we could invest in hem again as a couple.

They really suited each other. At least Roxy had Sean as her own boyfriend and didn't sleep with him behind her sister's back like with Jack and Charlie! (The men are to blame here too though not just Roxy)

(The men are to blame here too though not just Roxy) Actually Roxy didn't sleep with Ronnie's boyfriend in 2008. Jack and Ronnie weren't together and plus Ronnie kept pushing Jack away and not too long after sleeping with Roxy he got together with Tanya.

This whole Roxy/ Charlie storyline is about as realistic as digging Ma Roscoe out the ground and saying she's alive! Come on Dom pull the other one.

I think we're supposed to believe that they've been forced together through necessity and fell for each other - only due to EE being (sarcasm alert) slightly Carter Centric the PTB have barely shown Roxy and Charlie apart from when Ronnie first had the accident so it's happened 'behind the scenes' therefore no one gives a monkey's about it/them as we're not emotionally invested. We're being told what's happened but I don't think many are feeling it.
A bit like Kat's shagger storyline when we didn't know who he was, apart from the reveal (which was great) we just saw it as sleazy because all we'd seen was Kat pulling her skirt down in the Vic's kitchen and looking salacious etc - we weren't invested because we'd never seen any loving or close scenes. Ditto Charlie and Roxy.
I suppose this is what happens when one family is too prominent and the programme isn't such an ensemble piece.
