41 years ago today, the Duckworths moved into 9 Coronation Street. They were being used as a backup plan as the new Stan and Hilda, as Bernard Youens' health was failing and they knew his declining health may force his exit from the show and they were proven right in the spring of 1984.

Frank Barlow was born 110 years ago today. The 2020 60th anniversary book hinted he was still alive at the grand age of 107.

Wednesday 23rd October marked 15 years since Jimmy Dockerson tried to kill Carla Connor on the orders of Tony Gordon. This was Jimmy (Robert Beck's) last appearance on the show. Not sure if he is still serving time in prison for Liam Connor's murder.
