Bianca is more bearable in the cafe and she is looking out for Bernie.
Why did Patrick think for one minute that Yolande might have dementia? Pastor Pervy is sure going to get his comeuppance soon.
Good to see Will standing up to Billy and quite rightly so. Nice scene with Stevie and his grandchildren but I still think he has an ulterior motive in coming to Walford but I hope to be proven wrong.

Yeah I'm still liking Stevie but TBH I'm still side-eyeing him, this is a soap after all so I'd be surprised if there isn't an ulterior motive!
It comes to something when Will is coming off as more mature than his quite old father. Billy just sounds like a kid having a tantrum. Instead of kicking off and trying to rule the roost he'd be better off calmly sitting his son (and Honey) down and explaining what his dad did and how it affected him. Janet and Will's relationship is adorable.
I take it that Patrick hasn't had much to do with dementia if he could be persuaded so easily by someone with no medical background that Yolande was in the throes of it. He's going to want to wring the man's neck when he finds out what actually happened - which looks like it will be tonight. Can't wait.

Perfection. By the end music I was teary. Angela Wynter and Rudolph Walker beyond outstanding. Episode and soap of the year and we are only in May.

That song at the end "Can't Get By Without You" by The Real Thing is my fave song of theirs, and to me knocks spots off the more iconic and more overplayed "You To Me Are Everything".

I wasn't particularly looking forward to this episode tonight but wow, wow, wow! Beautifully acted between Rudolph and Angela and good to see the more mature actors strut their stuff. I hope they get Levi involved if they are going to go via the Church. I had tears in my eyes by the end. Well done EE and probably one of the most touching two-hander in a long time.

EE keeps surpassing itself with these episodes and it hasn't escaped my attention that all the really good episodes involve the older characters (Yolande, Patrick, George, Eddie, Gloria etc). No special effects, just human stories and they're all the better for it.
For only having 2 characters I couldn't believe how quick it went, didn't drag at all.
Patrick had the reaction you expect from a man of his age, kinda making it all about him and what happened to 'his woman' until Yolande gave him an education, and boy what an education. She shouldn't have to avoid a man, the man shouldn't be doing it. Her generation weren't taught about consent and just put up with it previously taking the lame excuses and boys will be boys culture on the chin and so on delivered in a naturalistic manner, no hint of reading from a pamphlet. This was true and this was real.
Once again bravo EE. No one does this better.
(as a side note I never realised that their bedroom and bathroom was off the kitchen!)

Bianca was amusing in the Caf 'Seen more meat on a butcher’s pencil' Bernie and Bianca are a good double act. I hope Yolande gets justice and Levi does something about it.

I may be well wrong and I do hope so but he didn't come across as being totally believing Yolande's story tonight. He is going to alert the church hierarchy, we will see. I hope to God that this brain diagnosis for George isn't going to see him leaving any time soon. He fits in well and is an excellent member of the cast.

Decent follow up episode to the excellent two-hander the night before.
I agree Walls, I'm not convinced that the church will do anything and will be more interested in covering it up even if they do believe her forcing Yolande to either let it go or go to the police. I don't think her trauma is finished yet.
Again I agree that I hope this isn't George's exit storyline, what a loss to the show he would be. That diagnosis sounds really serious but it doesn't look like he wants to give up the boxing ...
I'm going to say yet again that I'm loving this new, improved family man/ good friend Phil. He's still gruff, he's still him but better without all the hard-man gangster nonsense.

Good episode to end the week. Alan Ford as Stevie is such a great addition to the show, I hope he is genuine wanting to make amends with Billy and not have an agenda, we don't need another villain in the square. The Teen scenes are good on the show and they seem real and genuine.

So Elaine now knows about the kiss!! That ain't going to go down well.
Patrick just couldn't help himself. He needs to learn some constraint and listen to Yolande and what she wants. I'm still on the shelf about Levi though.
I can't be bothered with the teens and the steroid storyline. No doubt Patrick and Yolande will go off for a while and Denzel will go further off the rails. Come back soon Kim & Howie.

I am really liking Stevie, I just hope he is genuine and not going to have some interior motive which normally always happens in soap. It is nice to see EE making the most of their senior actors, nice for Patrick, Yolande and guest actors like Stevie, Gloria and Eddie.

Patrick just couldn't control himself, stay calm and think of the longer picture so now, thanks to him, the pastor has been forewarned that what he did might be exposed which unfortunately has given him time to compose himself and plot for when he's eventually approached about Yolande's accusations. I have a feeling that Patrick seeing red might have made things worse for Yolande in the long run.
Please be on the level Stevie! I hate to think of Billy having pressure put on him from everywhere (except Phil) to accept this man only to be hurt once again if he turns out to be dodgy. Sometimes when people have been hurt family and friends need to listen if they don't want to reconcile.
What will Elaine do now she knows about their kiss? How awful for her when she's been nothing but supportive to him. And how reckless is George to even think of boxing again when another blow could kill him? Whether he likes it or not he has problems and for once Cindy was right trying to put him in touch with someone who could help him.

Not the best of episodes to start the week, best bit for me the scenes with Amy and Penny. Forgot they were step sisters.

Yeah, it wasn't the best episode.
I just want Whitney and her ridiculous wedding dress off my screen. Quickly followed by Britney and Bianca.
I just faze out with the teens scenes at the moment.
Is George going to fight his son, surely not. Things can only get better.
