I thought that wedding dress was a joke at first! Whitney's never had much dress sense but she looked like she'd been pulled straight off a loo roll And what did she want that vase for? The swapping stickers/stealing from Billy's stall just left a bad taste in my mouth. Not like he's trying to make a living is it? Just like Mick, Whitney's exit is taking far too long from the date we found out she was going. Sooner they're all gone the better. At least seeing his son was his opponent brought George up short but it looked like his son wasn't bothered about fighting him! What is their history? George was getting on my nerves in this episode but it's plain to see he's having some kind of breakdown/crisis but is resisting any kind of help. Nice scenes between Amy and Penny. So all of a sudden, since the arrival of the show-off influencer girl, Amy thinks it's time that her and Denzel finally did the deed. But after all those steroids will he be able to rise to the occasion?

What a set of gnashers Junior has. He seems a bit of a player going for a drink in the club minus his wedding ring. How come his wife was waiting for him in the car right after he left Bianca?
The scene with Whitney, Lauren and Zak was just awful. I don't think I can take much more of this leaving storyline. It's just going around in circles.
Is Denzel going to clear up all the broken glass in Patrick & Yolande's bedroom then? His non-performance with Amy will be down to his steroid use but then no one knows about that apart from Nugget.
Not a great week so far.

Glad to hear Whitney telling off Bianca for letting Britney steal - but she should have been telling off Britney too. Hated the contrived way they made it look like Whitney had cottoned onto Zack and Lauren's cheating - then the 'kidding! You're my maid of honour' Just go, FGS, go. Denzel. It's either the 'roids or perhaps he's just not ready? But either way he shouldn't have let poor Amy think it was her scars That's cruel. Then she had to put up with Nugget making tentative advances. And yes, I hope Yolande finds some shards so he's got some explaining to do as to what was going on in her bedroom. Well let's just say I never put Junior and Bianca together. Rather random? Then having the nerve to get his wife to pick him up when he'd just shagged another woman?! And slipping his wedding ring back on. Ugh. Dirty dog. (Reiss walking in without his specs on and not noticing them snogging on the sofa was mildly amusing though) I thought Elaine would be the type to give her man his marching orders if he'd been sniffing elsewhere but so far she's keeping quiet. I hope they're not going to turn her into a doormat for 'luurve'. Not a stellar week but I suppose we've been spoiled by EE of late so it hits us harder when they're just average.

A slightly better episode tonight thankfully. It was good to see George and Junior have a semi decent conversation together but something tells me Junior and Cindy will be getting it on quite soon. Whether it be because he is a player or to get one over on his father is still beyond me. Where is Monique and his son staying?? It was good to see Kat back if only for a short time before she needed a wee. Where are Sharon, Kath and Suki? They have been missing for weeks. Ravi made a brief appearance tonight at the Sten Party so hopefully Nish will be back soon too. Jack turning up as a policeman was cringe. No doubt we will see Whitney's baby's birth tomorrow. The truth is going to come out though about Zack and Lauren but who is going to spill the beans?

Wednesday: At this point I'm wondering whether Cindy is going to end up shagging both father and son! She's obviously more than up for it with George but will she be able to resist a much younger man coming on to her even if it is George's son? I'd like to see her horrified and batting him away like a fly but I'm not sure. She looked great in that gold dress last night and it definitely looked like Junior was eyeing her up whilst also watching the chemistry between the exes. George isn't treating Elaine right that's for sure. He won't talk to her and is drawn to Cindy like a moth to the flame. It's only a matter of time isn't it? I see heartbreak for Elaine ahead and the complications of him being invested in Vic if they do split up. Nugget is a right nugget. I'm trying not to be too angry because they're teens who make mistakes but that was a nasty trick. Those 'roids are showing with Denzel too the temper on him. At this point I'd say Amy is well rid of the pair of them. Could Nugget be into Denzel himself? The old cliche of locking a pregnant person up and then they go into labour

Cindy has always been a tramp, so shagging the son will be in her character.

Well we all know now what is going to make Whitney leave. Britney is going to snitch the conversations she overheard between Zack and Lauren. Baby Dolly who looked so much bigger than a new born arriving 2 weeks early ain't gonna know her father.
It was good to see Sharon turn up for her brother's stag do. She has been off the screen for far too long. I appreciate Suki being missing as the actresses Mum died recently and she would have been excused for compassionate reasons. Where the hell is Kath though? Eve made an appearance dressed as Suki and I did laugh at Reiss as a poke of chips.
So Elaine has dumped George. I really didn't see that coming but I get her drift. I'm sure this will be temporary as Gina and Anna still live in the Vic and they will win her round I'm sure.
The best episode of the week with plenty of character interaction.

Well good for Elaine, never saw that one coming. When she didn't pull George about the kiss I thought she was going to keep quiet and hope for the best but she kept her powder dry, assessed the situation and decided that she couldn't put up with it any longer and got rid (for now anyway). I'm impressed and it will be interesting to see what George does next e.g. fight for her or not. Was Sharon dressed in fancy dress because I thought her hair looked much better than it has of late. Nice to see her back after months off, coming back for about a fortnight then disappearing again. Some of the fancy dress costumes were great and the scenes were fun. The sight of Reiss trying to get into a car dressed as a bag of chips Dolly? Blimey. Nearly as bad as Peach (though I know how that one came about). Just makes me think of that cloned sheep. Trust the sullen Britney with the hearing problems to overhear Zack saying out loud about them sleeping together, at least Lauren was being a bit more circumspect and not saying it outright. Roll on Britney now spilling the beans

Wednesday: At this point I'm wondering whether Cindy is going to end up shagging both father and son! Separately or together? That would be quite a disturbing threesome. Would she really go there with her daughter's brother? It would be like Phil Mitchell and Ian Beale having sex together.

A poor start to the week but ending on a positive note by Thursday. Bianca looks like she is chewing a wasp in most of her scenes. Amy can do so much better than Denzel. I liked Penny putting Nugget and Denzel is their place. Well Hello Dolly. What a silly name. I will be glad when Whitney has gone now. Thursday had a half decent script by Sharon Marshall.

EastEnders has made a much better start to the week. It felt more like old school EastEnders tonight. A good script by Daran Little. Jessie Wallace did make me laugh with her throw away line to Sonia about not being at the wedding, 'I don’t really care' I thought the scene with Callum and Whitney was good and pleased they remembered they nearly married. I also smiled at Bianca's distain for Reiss. The only bum note for me was the entrance of Mo and Freddie. A great Duff Duff. Classic Eastenders.

Well it was all quite predictable last night. We just knew that dour faced Britney was going to spill the beans. Can someone please tell Whitney that Britney is not her daughter. Dolly is her daughter and Britney is her foster child who could be taken away from her at any time. Can't say I'm particularly looking forward to another 3 episodes of Whitney before she departs our screens.
George's face when he discovered he is a grandfather was lovely and even Elaine looked chuffed for him. More on this storyline please and less about Whitney.

Wow that was a good slap/punch by Whitney. The opening scene was very violent. Lauren so deserved that. Shona was very good tonight. I did smile at drunk Linda. Elaine needs to throw away Linda's pink drinking cup. I want Linda to do my buffet. Apart from the Denzel/Nugget stuff a good entertaining episode.

Well my sympathy goes with poor Zak. Whitney has been quite coercive in her treatment of him over the last number of weeks. It's been her way or no way regarding Britney and if he didn't agree then she threatened his access to the baby she was carrying. Zak has been made to look the villain and sure what he did was wrong but Whitney's self-indulgent behaviour has been mostly to blame. I hope she finds out that Bianca has known about the ONS all along. Whitney was never going to have a happy ending.

The scenes with Lauren and Cindy were well acted. Round 1 to Lauren just. Good scenes with Callum and Whitney. I am hoping Whitney finds out Bianca knew about Lauren and Zack. That would wipe the smile off mighty mouth. A good episode tonight, but I will be glad when Whitney has gone.
