The scenes with Lauren and Cindy were well acted. Round 1 to Lauren just. Good scenes with Callum and Whitney. I am hoping Whitney finds out Bianca knew about Lauren and Zack. That would wipe the smile off mighty mouth. A good episode tonight, but I will be glad when Whitney has gone. Me too and can't wait until next week when she is off our screens. She's dumped Zack for screwing her supposed best friend but is happy to be friends with her nearly husband Callum who dumped her on her last wedding day. You couldn't make it up. I hope Lauren puts the boot in and tells Whitney that Bianca knew all along tomorrow night. Nice one Elaine putting Cindy in her place. She deserves to be with low life Ian. I already love Big Mo and Stevie together. They are going to rock one way or another.

Not overly happy with this episode, some good performances saved it, but it was rushed and could have been better. The writing was a little hit and miss. Was Lacey Turner ill in real life and they filmed this end piece at the last minute? The Callum and Whitney scenes were good. I am pleased Whitney found out about Bianca. I liked the bus scene at the end makes a change from a Taxi of Tube. I smiled at that extra getting on the bus, where was she going, Kings Cross? At least Whitney got a bit of a Julia's Theme. Good luck Shona with your future career.

It feels like The Whitney Show at the minute now she is leaving.

Well thank goodness she's gone! I don't think I could have stood anymore of the Whitney leaving storyline. Don't look back Shona, I hope your future flourishes. They had Britney wearing the same cap that Whitney wore on her first episode. I hope to God she won't come back some day.
Hopefully we will get back on track next week and not before time. There are so many stories just bubbling away that need addressing.

Not sure what to think of Mondays episode? The Panesar's back tonight and I am bored with them already. The Panesar's bring nothing to the show. Thomas Law as Peter is pretty poor in all of his scenes and has the same facial expression. Nothing really positive to say about the show tonight apart from the George and Phil scenes and the interaction and bitching between Lauren and Cindy were the best bits in a flat start to the week.

Tonight's episode wasn't showing in Scotland until 10.30 so I watched it on iPlayer earlier.
It was good to see other storylines forming after the Whitney Show which has dominated for most of the month. Zack is doing my head in now as there's really nothing for him to do. Why is Suki on crutches? I'm not sure that Nish is a dying man but we will see. I just love Phil and George's relationship. They are like an old married couple.

Last week: Watched these 4 episodes one after the other and boy it seemed that Whitney was never going to leave. I get it, she's upset Zack cheated, but does that mean he has to effectively lose his daughter? She magnanimously declares that she won't make it hard for him to see her but it's a bit difficult when he's in London and she's in Wakefield! (she's going to Ryan's?) Can hardly pop round. I bet she thinks he should be grateful because let his name go on the birth certificate Look how she's thinking of her daughter - except she's not. She's taken her away from him. She's going to grow up without his continual presence in her life because of what Whitney wants, what Whitney needs. I'm not saying she should have stayed with him, never, but she didn't have to move so far away. No one asking her if it's fair to take Dolly away from her father? No male character perhaps empathising with Zack said 'that's not on!'? Zack cheated so he deserves what he gets. How childish. What a lack of foresight. I take it the huge onscreen exit was for Shona because I nearly boaked watching them lining up in the market etc to say their goodbyes to Whitney even though she was taking new born daughter away from what would be a good father. I never minded Whitney much before this, sometimes I liked her, sometimes I didn't but now I hate her. But not as much as I loathe Britney the manipulative little bitch. Good riddance to bad rubbish with her and I hope if Whitney returns that she's not accompanying her.

Cindy is one helluva hypocrite throwing stones at Lauren, after everything she's done! But I've got to say her run ins are mildly amusing. (but why wouldn't Peter give/loan Lauren some money, if their son needs new shoes it's his responsibility too).
Under the circumstances it wasn't a great look for Zack and Lauren to be rolling through the square together, hugging etc. How stupid. And then him trying to kiss her again! I like Zack but does he think with any other part of his anatomy?!
How long will George wait before he gives up on Elaine taking him back? Especially if, despite her talk with Elaine, Cindy keeps chucking herself at him? More Phil and George scenes please.
I'm not sure what to make of Junior yet other than he's surly but his wife seems a kind woman who is also coincidentally of Ghanaian heritage so can help George, Gina and Anna connect with their roots.
Surprised to see Bianca still there, has she given up her home in MK?
Nish is back and says he's dying - do we believe him? That would be both him and Suki lying about dying if he is!

Was Zack meant to be threatened by Peter? I did like the Nish and Bernie scenes in the Caf. Having Nish have a terminal illness was a good move, I just loved Suki's smile at the end. Brilliant. I thought tonight was slightly better than last night.

Cindy was doing George a good turn but only because she has ulterior motives and when she saw Elaine and the girls on their night out she jumped at the chance to get up close to George. She hasn't changed one bit and Elaine needs to have a word with Ian to let him know what she is up to when he is tucked up in bed early doors. Nish wasn't joking then and he does have a heart condition which requires a transplant to correct. I hope that this will be the start of the character being written out as I know that his real life wife has been diagnosed with cancer. Saying that though Suki's look when she found out the truth was sheer genius from an amazing actress. Lauren just bore off please and find yourself a job. What happened to her going to the Employment Agency on Monday to complete the forms because she just hung around the Square all day as far as I could see. Bernie and Nish scene was good.

So Kathy is Queen Kaf of the greasy spoon, we can sleep easy now normality is restored. Good on Elaine for telling Ian, I should feel sorry for him but I don't. A pointless character sadly, wish he had never returned. Suki was excellent through out the episode, love her being head of the family. I was bored with Peter and Lauren.

I'm still not convinced about Nish and his bad heart. Something isn't quite right IMO. Call me sceptical but he is a wrong one through and through.
Ian is going to play the long game with Cindy obviously after his conversation with Elaine. Stick it where it hurts Ian! It's nothing more than she deserves.
Kathy gets the caff back for £1, Lol! There's been no papers signed yet so something tells me this won't be straight forward. Nish is evil!

Wednesday: Kathy should have got that in writing! The cafe for a £1? Well played Nish, lol! Suki and Kheerat probably built up a lot of (if not nearly all) 'his' money though If he isn't actually dying he's gone to a lot of trouble! How would he pull that off? (sorry to hear that the actor's wife is ill). I hope Ian is planning something dastardly rather than burying his head in the sand hoping it goes away. This isn't just a random, it's her ex, they share two kids and never had a proper break-up as she just disappeared. Although from what we saw last year in flashback they seemed to be arguing a bit so it wasn't all happy-happy? Can't say I'm enthralled with Peter and Lauren

I enjoyed the Kathy and Cindy scenes and Elaine looking on from the Vic bedroom. I also thought the scene with Ian and Kathy was good with Ian telling his Mum having Cindy around makes him feel closer to Lucy. Not sure what Ruhma from Doctors is up to with Harvey? Kat smells a rat. Loved Suki again tonight, a clever Duff Duff. Good episode tonight apart from Peter and Lauren.
