Decent start to the week. I liked the Fathers Day themed episode. Alan Ford as Stevie is very good. Callum smells a rat. Is Phil going to be the next one that knows about "The Six?" Sorry, the Fathers Day scenes were just cringeworthy, especially the singing at the end.

Lol'd at Phil wandering around the square trying to find one of his many kids to spend time with I did think it was a bit mean of Denise to take Ray out, measuring up for a suit doesn't take all day after all and Phil is putting a roof over her head ... but if she hadn't done that he wouldn't have caught up with Sharon and the adorable Albie, such a cutie, surely he can't be Phil's? So now both Phil and Callum are suspicious, Phil especially after seeing that text from Linda - how many more people on the square are going to find out?! I felt for Karen, you'd want to know why someone had murdered your son, you'd want it to make some sense. Poor woman. I wonder if that's the last we'll see of her now? Still liking Stevie and being out of the square was a change - the teens didn't like being without their phones The old Denzil is still in there somewhere if the card he gave his dad is anything to go by.

I liked the scenes with Elaine and Yolande. So the six become nine. I don't want Phil and Sharon back together, but Letitia and Steve played their scenes so well. Downside unfunny Kim

Levi needs a huge slap for not reporting the sexual attack on Yolande to the church hierarchy. Someone needs to seek him out which can't be that hard. Elaine was there for Yolande again which was just the support she needed under the circumstances.
Phil thinks he is in with a shot again with Sharon. They will always have a connection but I hope they don't get back together.
I liked the support that Stevie gave to Will but what has he got up his sleeve to route out the perpetrator?

Will must have sent a full body shot including his face, otherwise it could have been anybody's bits and pieces.

I think Phil should try and get every woman on the square pregnant before it's too late. Stacey is more of a Branning woman but I dont think she's ever tried a Mitchell before. Then there's Sonia. She tried to seduce him years ago, could repeat the trick and get that baby she wants for free. Chelsea, we'll ignore. Unless she wants her brother to have another sibling. We need a Knight/Mitchell baby as well.

Phil and Sharon are always good together on screen but I hope they're not getting back together because I preferred him with Kat. I enjoy their scenes though and they do have a long history. I suppose it was only a matter of time before the almightly Phil found out about the Six.
Did I mishear or did Stevie say 'cat nipping' at the end lol! Don't know how he's going to solve Will's problem though. But I found it hard to believe that no girls are interested in Will at school, he'd have been one of our school's heart throbs!
I don't know how Levi can call himself a man of God if he never reported Yolande's abuse. Did he move on to avoid it or did he try and was forced out? Wouldn't put it past that Pastor. His veiled threats about the Christening running smoothly without trouble were sickening. I want Denzil to get him in one of his roid rages! Nice scenes of Yolande with Elaine again. Elaine needs more scenes independent of the Knights, Linda and the Vic.

I always found Phil and Kat one of the most mismatched couples in history. He is better off with Shirley or Sharon and Kat is better off with Alfie. "Phirley" "Pharon" and "Kalfie" over "Phat".

A beautiful scene with Yolande and Bernadette. Pastor Clayton is the devil incarnate. Another good episode tonight, EastEnders is having a much better week. The only downside was Kim and that hat. "Do me a Favour." Not funny.

"Do me a Favour." Not funny. It was a lovely scene and Bernie can act when she is given the right material. Kim should stick to serious storylines and less of this enforced comedy which isn't funny at all. I never even saw her face. How long is this fund raising going to go on for Lola? I get that the charity needs donations but please give us all a break for a time. Are Johnny and Callum going to get it on then?

Yolande and Bernie was lovely wasn't it? Yolande is such a nice woman and I agree, the Bernie actress can be very good at times.
What was Patrick thinking though leaving her when he went to change his suit?! He should have made sure she went with him. She's reported him now, thankfully, but TBH I can't see her having a satisfactory outcome.
I think Callum and Johnny might be an interesting coupling.
I must admit that I did laugh when I saw Kim's hat! Who in their right mind would wear that?!

So who stole the charity money? I'm thinking it might have been Will.
Angela Wynter stole the show again tonight. I hope her acting gets recognised for being first class. Hopefully we will never see Pastor Clayton ever again.

Angela Wynter a tour de force. Line of the night goes to Stevie, "And if you're not impressed with the rabbit, I can show you an elephant!" A first class episode and a good ending to an impressive week.

Yes I think Will is the thief too. He might have somehow heard that there was money in the place and decided to try his luck because he's desperate. And of course there'll be no CTTV - again!
I'm rather enjoying Mo with Stevie.
Yolande was excellent yet again, Angela plays the part to perfection. I'm really enjoying her friendship with Elaine.
I'm not hopeful in today's climate that much will happen to the Pastor unless we have some good proper detective work which digs into his past and unearths the previous complaints.
Harvey's new friend (sorry can't remember her name) beat a hasty retreat when he mentioned that he'd actually grassed his own son up. If she was going to get her own back for her husband's death is she now conflicted about carrying it through? Or was their meeting a genuine co-incidence and she realised that Harvey's son might be her husband's murderer and had to get away to check it out?
Another good week.
