My TV Mag and the TV Planner said it was scheduled for 7.30 tonight but no BBC Scotland had it on at midnight so it was the iPlayer for me. I've thoroughly enjoyed Jonny O'Neil's last 2 episodes. He's a decent writer.
Yolande and Delia's scenes were heart breaking and I'm so glad that Yolande won Delia round.
I'm sure there's much more to Teddy but I really like him so far. He's got a way with words which works for him. I'm glad that Will spilled the beans to save poor Stevie but there's more to come about Stevie's past with Teddy's Mum. Has cousin Phil met his match?

Also who would be looking for food in a kitchen drawer? Maya is definitely trying to bring down Harvey is some way and the mug just handed over what looked like a ton in money.

So glad that Delia was encouraged to report the pastor again. They'll not be able to brush off two witnesses so easily - or at least you'd hope so. The penny dropped with Yolande that he goes for decent, more pious women who he hopes would be too embarrassed and ashamed to report him. What a c u next tuesday. The way Stevie was looking at Billy I'm wondering if he's his? Or he suspected he wasn't his? Might explain (not excuse) Stevie putting him into care after his mum left (died?) That would be devastating for Billy as the only thing he really thinks he has going for him is the Mitchell name. No longer cousin of Phil etc. Either way there's definitely more to come out. I like Stevie even though he's a lickle liar, or lies by omission at least. I'm quite liking the new Mitchell's so far. Howled at Harry asking Phil to pick a window when Phil was getting arsey with his dad For all his faults Teddy and his sons seem very fond of Stevie and won't like Phil's attitude towards him. Knew there was a reason that Phil seemed to have an irrational hatred of Stevie. Phil's Top Dog status might well be under threat soon and with his own maniac son being incarcerated in the States he's not in the strongest position (and Callum's huffed off and Jay seems a bit indifferent to him lately).

What a bombshell that would be, if Billy was not Stevie's after all and hence why he was seen as the runt of the litter, as he was not a biological Mitchell. Some even theorise that Billy was Eric Mitchell's son or Phil is Stevie's.
I remember a rumour 2005/2006 that Johnny Allen may have been the biological father of Phil or Grant due to Johnny knowing Peggy in the early 1960s. They could get away with that with Billy but if they ever had a storyline that the 2 most iconic soap brothers were only half brothers, that would rip the Mitchell dynamic apart for good. Although if they did do it where Phil was Stevie's then he would still be a Mitchell, and his dad's cousin his real father as Stevie and Eric are cousins. Or eric was Billy's thus meaning Phil was not Eric's eldest blood child but Billy.

I was a bit peeved when England went through at the 11th hour, having to endure more of my footie mad family cheering.

Well was it worth the wait to get a double helping tonight? Not really for me.
Priya is just an out and out slapper. Nish had a lucky escape but Nugget saw them before he collapsed. I wonder where this steroid storyline is going with him though. I'm hoping he gets written out as he is a totally unlikeable character.
Surely Maya's husband would have received Criminal Injuries Compensation for the horrendous attack on him which has left him unable to work and requiring constant care. Harvey is such a mug but he does have a kind heart. Poor Jean thinks he is having an affair so he needs to come clean with her but no doubt he won't for some time.

I agree Wallis not the best of episodes, touching scenes with Billy, Honey and Will. I thought Sophie Khan Levy as Priya played her scenes well. Not sure about the new Mitchells yet, it seems a bit we have see it all before, not very original.

Wednesday double episodes: They were OK. I still enjoy how 'busy' the EE set is with noise and many extras. I don't get Priya's logic? She says its about the kids but it's about her. Nish would obviously (IMO) leave something for his grandkids who he loves and who seem to love him. And the silly moo hasn't got anything in writing so does she really expect him to stick to their deal and bypass his own sons (and daughter)? Just how amazing does she think she is? What a fool to trust him and the only way he'd parade her around is to try and stick one to Suki who probably no longer cares who she shags - but Ravi and grandkids will. She might lose her kids when they inevitably find out she's prostituted herself to their Granddad under the guise of 'seeing them alright' In typical soap style as Priya was riding her kids granddad one of those kids took ill. There was peace and conciliation at the hospital between her and Ravi as he declared 'you've changed' .... er, no she hasn't mate, she was seeing to your dad's carnal needs for cash while their seriously ill son was outside looking in! Can't wait for it all to come out A bit sad all round with Harvey, Jean and Maya. He should have told Jean everything when he got home but of course he didn't and she now thinks he's having an affair Enjoyed the Mitchell scenes, they're a bit of fresh air. Pity Billy's a stick-in-the-mud who couldn't join in with the naked selfie jokes but at least he just left and went home and not in his usual, petulant storming off.

I thought the 2 episodes tonight were really good. EE aren't dragging storylines out at the moment which is just what we want.
I still reckon Nish is bluffing his illness and paid the doctor to say he was dying. He is totally evil over what he did to the family tonight but in saying that Priya kind of got her just desserts. I'm sure that Suki saw right through Nish as she knows him better than anyone and will be on Priya's side over Avani going off to live with Ravi. Talking about Ravi it isn't that long ago that he was dealing drugs himself so he isn't whiter than white.
Howie is a bit of a background character but he showed his strength tonight with Denzel.
Nice mention by Ian of he Election today.

A better end to the week than the start. Is it not time Lola's picture was removed from the bar, goodness me. I did feel sorry for Priya. I think the only one believing her is Suki. Sophie Khan Levy star of the week. A shame these episodes will rate most probably an all time low due to demoting them to BBC 3. Sad times for the soap.

Denzel should have been walloped for the disgusting way he spoke to his father (Kim was lovely when she was trying to bolster him after that tongue lashing from his son). Hope he apologises profusely and realises what a great dad he has. Their scene at the end did make me well up. Did Nish and Priya do the deed or not? When they were coming back downstairs and at the hospital Nish wasn't behaving like a man who'd been rebuffed (she said she'd changed her mind and hadn't gone through with it? Or did she mean she'd changed her mind at the hospital and wasn't going to continue?) Either way Nish played her like a fiddle. She might have known what kind of man he was as she watched him with Suki who he's supposed to love. She was never going to get off with rejecting him. I was a bit sorry for her that Avani* was so quick to judge and leave with Ravi though. Her mum's the one who's been there all of her life and her recent actions makes me wonder what she's done in the past to keep the roof over their heads? Agree with Holey in that the Priya actress has been very good this week. Harvey is being daft, especially hiding giving part of his earnings to Maya. I'd like to know how the money situation has been resolved in Stacey's house considering they were so skint she was doing Only Fans yet the arrival of a baby seems to have made their financial problems go away instead of making it worse! Noticable wig on Sharon, I wonder what's wrong with Letitia's hair? Good week, enjoyed the episodes especially the last two. (* just remembered that Avani told her mum not to do anything to mess up their living situation, that she wasn't leaving? So Priya was warned. Looks like she has form for this when her teen daughter is saying that to her).

Too many teens tonight, they are all doing my head in. So sick of innit after every sentence. Nobody that I know would say that so it must be a southern thing to say.
Billy's Mum is dead so are we going to find out more about this?
Best tonight was Suki and Priya hooking up against Nish.

Spot on Wallis. Too many teen scenes tonight, nothing really gelled, apart from the Suki and Priya scenes and Bernie in the Caf having ago at Phil.
