Suki: The enemy of my enemy is my friend. She knows Nish and these two women could be quite formidable together. And Priya's still saying that nothing happened? Did I misconstrue them on the stairs and they were got disturbed going up there rather than them coming back down?
Why did Stevie lie about Billy's mum being dead as he was 'only young' and (seemingly) didn't want to upset him yet it was OK to really upset him by putting him into care after his mum 'left'?
So how did she die? I presume we'll find out tonight.
I didn't mind Amy giving Denzel grief about what happened, having her digs that he couldn't get it up and it wasn't him being turned off by her scars. He deserves a roasting for that. Other than that though I was very 'meh' with the teens too.

Who is the mystery person on Ian's phone? Jane? Perry Fenwick as Billy broke my heart. Superb performance especially when he was on the phone to Honey. Good scenes with Billy and Phil. Good to see Phil being the pariah.

A decent episode tonight. I loved Billy and Teddy's scenes together and then Billy facing Phil with the truth. Runt of the litter. Yolande and Denzel as well was nice to see. He actually respects his Aunty. Maybe this will be the turning point for him, well here's hoping. Ian's mystery call has us all wondering. Could it be Jane?

I really like Teddy so far, seems an empathetic, reasonable and peace keeping man. His pep talk to Billy was almost sublime, has Billy ever been called anyone's 'hero' before? I hope he's on the level and not up to something.
Poor Billy has been put through the emotional wringer lately. I can't imagine finding out your mother died when you were 9 and no one told you and then your dad thought it was OK for you to go into care and stay there while he played happy families with his affair partner and later their son! All because you looked too much like your mum for his conscience to cope with? WTF? No wonder he's devasted. OK the chances of his mum still being alive were slim but there was a chance ...
I'd want to kill Stevie in his position.
How glorious was that at the end though when empowered by Teddy's words Billy stood up to Phil and told him that HE was the runt of the litter now! Billy's rejection for his new family will hurt as I think he does care for Billy and has looked out for him when his other family were nowhere to be seen. He's also made Billy feel like crap many times too though so ...
Wonder why they're isolating Phil like this? Where/what's this leading to?

Sad to see Stevie go, I hope he comes back at some point and not killed off. They were never going to keep Alan Ford on a regular basis. I like the Teddy/Billy pairing, it has potential. The Phil storyline is interesting, I wonder if he will hit the bottle again?

A good couple of episodes to end a bit of a mixed up week episode wise.
It's sad to see Stevie go but fingers crossed he will come back at some point if Alan is willing. EE certainly got their moneys worth out of him though as he has featured regularly over the last few months. I'm so glad he played a fast one on Phil before he left as he was a constant itch he had to get rid of. Phil is now in a corner where he has absolutely nobody. Will this lead to him hitting the bottle again?
Reiss is scamming Sharon by charging her clients interest and getting it paid to him. This is going to end badly.
We are obviously into a new storyline now about Tommy mis-behaving badly. Just what we need more teen anguish, NOT!
Liked the football insert but Harvey seemed to have forgotten his woes which didn't quite ring true.

Hopefully with all the football Elaine will be encouraged to set up a Queen Vic football team. Install Kat as manager and we can relive the "We love you Kat Moon" glory days of EE again

Loved Stevie, hope he returns once in a while. Ripping off Phil was his best move yet! Why did he have to split with Mo though? He obviously doesn't live that far away if he could taxi in every day? He's just keeping out of the way not moving away? Enjoyed Stevie and Mo together and it would have been great watching them getting up to mischief! Teddy is still impressing, I really hope he doesn't turn out to be dodgy ... and speaking of dodgy ... Reiss!! I think Sonia's got too much of a baby brain and isn't seeing things clearly at the moment. What's the betting he either talks her into mortgaging her house or does it furtively without telling her? My money's on the latter. He's turning into a right con man. (But I'm a bit confused as to why he can't he get his wife's care paid for? Her money in the bank wasn't going to pay for the care for much longer anyway at those prices.) Football insert was good (I really like that EE does this) and no, I can't be bothered with more teen/kid angst either but I grudingly say that it's not surprising that Tommy is acting up. And Phil doing a grand job of alienating just about everyone in his life. Well done Phil. What's next for him now? Back on the booze - surely we've had enough of that with Linda? Breakdown? Or something worse, I'm thinking possible suicide attempt? He should go and see Grant and have a break, come back and try and mend fences. But would his ridiculous pride allow him to eat some humble pie with his relatives?

I’m thinking Phil will consider suicide. It is, after all, how his mum passed away.

Phil is a typical narcissist, a person who always seems to place the blame on everyone else, yet never takes the blame himself. He thinks everyone is at fault except him, when in reality he needs to be told that the problem others have with you lies with you Phil, and the way you treat people, and gob off with threats when confronted.

I did howl at Elaine delighted in thinking Ian may be cheating on Cindy.
What strikes me watching Bobbie in his scenes is how sad he has been so under used this year. Clenshaw has failed in this respect. One of his few mistakes. I don't blame Clay for leaving. Destined for bigger things.
So Jane is back. Surprise Surprise Cilla. A great Duff Duff.

Well I was right, it's the often used Soap trait when someone is leaving to bring back a past character. No doubt Bobbie will leave to live with Jane who covered for him after the death of Lucy. They always had a sound relationship. I loved the way Jane looked Cindy up and down so really looking forward to tomorrow's episode.
Another football insert. EE is great for showing some reality about the outside world and big events. My money's with Alfie and England winning the World Cup in 2026, not!

That was one family get together and a half tonight. Jane versus Cindy was brilliant but poor Bobbie in the middle of it all. I forgot about his OCD which manifested again tonight. I'm so glad that Ian gave Cindy what for, it's been a long time coming. A really good episode but could have done without the stupid club spiking scenes and it had just been the Cotswolds and the 6, oops another 6.

What a corker of an episode. Loved the Cindy and Jane scenes in the kitchen and the mention of Steven.
Jane: 'Your son shot at my womb. Your son made me infertile.'
Laurie Brett firing on all cylinders as if she had never been away. Michelle Collins was also very good tonight. Bobbie seemed so vulnerable, played brilliantly by Clay.
I agree Wallis we could have done without the spiking storyline.
