Up until now I've always liked Reiss for being different but I'm afraid he seems to be on his way out. Stealing money from Sharon to pay for Debbie's nursing home fees is just not on. Phil is on high alert about the Corporation Tax scam so he deserves what is coming for him. Is Sonia going to be a one parent family assuming she actually has the baby?
So Tommy Moon Slater is like father like son a nasty piece of work although I have to admit I had a soft spot for Michael. Phil stoked the embers and it resulted in Kat baring the brunt. Toerag!
Penny is doing my head in. Is sex all she thinks about?
A better episode to last night.

Is Sonia going to get blamed for Debbie being murdered? Just a thought. Reiss is really creeping me out. I hope Sonia does not sell Dot's house. Penny is showing her true colours and what is up with Tommy? Poor Kat you can see where this is going.

I reckon Sonia will be blamed too. We never saw Reiss signing in so if that is the case Sonia was the last person to visit. What's the bet she will miscarry with all the stress. Bye, bye Reiss.
Kat should have told Alfie the truth and showed him her bruises. Tommy is totally off the rails. Phoning the police saying that is Mum is hitting him is totally sick.
Penny the backstabber. No surprise there. I really can't stand the character.

Yup I agree, Sonia is going to be blamed for this, it's all leading up to it. All the conversations she's had with neighbours and friends about being skint and having to pay Debbie's care fees, especially what she said to Martin. She just happens to visit Debbie and for no reason whatsoever touched her, her pillow etc. Was caught by a rather aggressive carer 'sneaking' out of Debbie's room - and Sonia of all people should know there doesn't need to be anyone on reception for you to sign in! We've watched soaps before, we know what's coming next But Reiss eh? They couldn't just have him a bit of an awkward oddball, they had to cross the line into murder. And for what? Debbie could have gone into council care! Sonia was going to sell the house for her 'family' (stupid woman). Yet I bet he stands back and lets her take the blame. Tommy's turning into a right little bastard. I was infuriated that Kat apologised to him! To him! After he punched her in the stomach so hard he bruised her. Yet she shouldn't have pushed him in retaliation?! Pushed? I've have slaughtered the little shite. He'd have had something to phone the police about if he tried that with me. I was mad as hell that she didn't tell anyone either, especially once she realised that he had no shame or regrets about it. Grrrrr. This storyline is going to make me furious. Penny 'I've got a minge that works you know' Branning is a two-faced rat as well isn't she? Can't wait to see what events she organises and cocktails she puts on the menu considering she was so sniffy about Chelsea's. Is she still getting in and out of the place through the service lift? She won't be able to step in and help behind the bar either.

Reiss is likely going to go down the Richard Hillman route. Also both arrived at Alma and Dot's funerals claiming to be relatives.

Reiss realising killing Debbie was a waste of time when Sonia was going to sell the house did make me laugh. Jessie Wallace excellent tonight. I did feel sorry for Kat. Good to see Alfie stepping up. Sonia is going to get the blame for Debbie nothing so certain.

Also dreadful acting by Reiss at the end. Toe curling.

The standout players tonight were Alfie and Kat. When Shane is given hard hitting scripts he can act well.
Bored already of the Reiss, Debbie and Sonia storyline. Reiss was laughing and crying at the same time when he realised at the end that he's killed Debbie for nothing. Whether it worked is another story.
Penny, don't get me started, was a complete cow to Chelsea. Phil should be told that it was Penny who opened the bottle of champagne and not Chelsea. Maybe he will believe her when the club gets done for running drugs.

Tommy sunk to new lows, hitting a woman and not just that, his own mother. Dennis Rickman Jnr did this a few years back, plus both Mitchell brothers with Peggy. And then she apologises for pushing him!! It just gets into his head that he can do no wrong

Easties does do "wannabe tough guys" very well, when in reality nearly all tough people never act tough like Phil, Tommy, that new Mitchell son etc do. They all have to try to prove they are "tough". Real Easties hardmen are Jack Branning who is quite modest about his skills. Phil is bravado and is too old as well. A poser.

Really glad Kat's told Alfie about Tommy hitting her. Loved the scene where Alfie confronted him, starting off all happy daddy then verbally going in for the kill letting Tommy know just how treacherous but ultimately stupid he'd been.
Knowing how much Phil hates grasses perhaps he should be told that Tommy grassed his mother up? A tongue lashing from Phil might have more affect than anything else?
The sight of Reiss reeling was a bit like a dark comedy once the penny dropped that it was all for nothing. And he didn't reckon on a police investiagtion either did he? Ooops.
Stand back Chelsea and let Penny hoist herself with her own petard. Her bossy, aggressive management style is surely going to wind everyone up?

The Martin scenes were nice to watch and very natural, I loved the Eve and Stacey scenes also. As much as I would want to hit Bert and Ernie, Tommy is a nasty little thug. Nice to have Little Mo and Lynne mentioned and so much compassion from Phil to Reiss. Reiss taking Debbie's ring was low. Wonderful to see Nichola McAuliffe at the end as Debbie's Mum. Watch out Reiss! Nichola will always be Sheila Sabatini to me, we just need Duncan Preston to pop in now.

Tommy being a total bar steward to his two brothers was just awful. He needs to be caught out for something and sent to a juvenile detention centre to get the shit knocked out of him. See if he can cope with that. I blame Phil's influence on him.
Reiss is going to pawn Debbie's engagement ring to raise some money to try and pay back Phil. It ain't going to raise £13,000 though.
I wonder how much the actress playing Debbie was paid for lying there comatose all the time.
Priya was one of the stand out performances but I reckon Vinny has plans for her in his false love and caring for Nish.
Mediocre episode.

Priya was one of the stand out performances but I reckon Vinny has plans for her in his false love and caring for Nish. Mediocre episode. Absolutely. He's seen that throwing your weight around and being a bully makes people 'respect' you, do your bidding, leave you be. Like he said when he lived with Phil he got left alone at school and I suppose at his young age that's all he sees, not that Phil's genetic kids are either fecked up or can't be far enough away from him. There's also the financial benefits - which teenager wouldn't love just getting e.g. a pair of the latest trainers when they want them? That's all he sees, 'respect' and money. Nothing else, that's all that matters to him. He's cold, and calculating. Being around Phil has brought out his genetic father's traits. Good luck with this 'un Kat 'cos she's going to need it. He's learned nothing, threatening her again last night I was nearly spontaneously combusting wondering how EE could have messed it up so badly saying Martin was 40 when Pauline only found out she was pregnant with him in EE's first episode!! (IIRC). Luckily it was other character's mistakes not EE's, phew! Reiss really has some brass neck. I think he thinks he's made amends with Debbie for killing her! Where's her parents been the rest of the time though? Do they live a distance away? Nice that they've turned up now and are asking questions though, give him hell!
