A good start to the week. I thought the stunt was quite well done and the filming of it did give the impression of a real crowd crush scene. Penny is so toxic but I wouldn't like to be in Chelsea's shoes once the ticket story is revealed. It looks like it's Amy & Kim who are suffering plus Bobby is having a panic attack.

Monday:
I get Chelsea's frustration, I really do. Penny is an awful boss who's lording it over her. But increasing the capacity by 100 in a place that small? That was extremely reckless. And they're going to be in serious, serious trouble for that fire escape being blocked. Could be enough to shut the place down.
It was very cleverly shot. I was wondering if it was computer trickery or if they actually packed the place out? Or both? (Something that the other two soaps couldn't dream of doing at the moment with their cost cutting.)
I used to like Bernie in the cafe ear wigging everyone's conversations but now she's just getting on my nerves.

Another busy Bryan Kirkwood episode tonight and again I really enjoyed it. Here is how they filmed some of the scenes x.com/bbceastenders/status/1828511549662572584Imagine working at 2.30 in the morning to film the night scenes. Take note CS.

The aftermath was much better than the stunt itself. Some good performances, EastEnders showing off its ensemble cast. Jac Jossa was very good in the hospital. Also nice scenes with Sharon and Zack. The George scenes with his brother were good. All in all a decent episode.

It was worse than I thought, Chelsea put a zero at the end so it was 132 more bodies to squeeze in Peggy's. Stangely I don't want her to get caught or confess though, Penny was a total bitch and I want her to be held totally responsible lol! And I am going to hell because I found it very satisfying when she was tipped out of her wheelchair Didn't think much of George's brothers. Not quite sure what that oldest one thought that a 15 year old kid could do in the face of a load of dodgy, rough as badgers, possibly gangsterish blokes one of them being his adoptive dad? And he had no idea until recently it was his bio dad who they killed. Let's hope Amy pulls through from her cardiac arrest. Horrible scenes where Lauren got trampled on, you didn't even see much but my imagination went into overdrive. Butter fingers Bernie! Who's going to end up with her burner phone and will she be outed as the phantom texter? Cindy is horrible, only bothered about whether she's been caught out. At least Junior redeemed himself a bit with the brothers by bigging George up. But still, him and her are just ugh. Good episode though, I love how busy and crowded EE is anyway nowadays but last night was just another level.

Zaraah Abrahams as Chelsea superb tonight. The George and Kojo scenes were very good. Martin was also very good with Kojo. Line of the night goes to Kat "You're as useful as a condom machine in the Vatican in here!"

I suspect that Chelsea's conscience will get the better with her and she will admit to tampering with the ticket numbers. It was good to hear Penny say that she had been nasty towards Chelsea but it's too late now deary. I was reading DS comments on the episode earlier and most of them are objecting to Kojo. For goodness sake the actor is autistic and he is playing the role of an autistic brother to George. Some people need educating before being let loose on social media. The actor has had roles in quite a few TV productions as I shake my head. Bernie's now under suspicion by Kathy and Sharon. She better watch out. Kat on crutches! Is there a competition going on with the female actresses on EE?

Loved the scenes with George, Kobina and Kojo, very moving. Clair Norris as Bernie was excellent tonight. Excellent duff duff, it had a similar ring to Peggy Shouting "Chrissie Watts you murderer". The ending with the Six, very cleverly done, setting up the trial for next week. Good end to the week.

Great ending to the week. Bernie has changed tack and now thinks rather than Linda it is Sharon who killed Keanu. Next week is going to be good I hope with the court scenes.
Remind me not to check out DS as they are a bunch of ignorant people when it comes to Kojo. They are infuriating me! This is a totally innovative storyline for EE to tackle. Whether it works for them we will have to wait and see but at least for the moment they are addressing it. I don't think the actor is so severely damaged by his autism as is being screened but his addition is like a spanner in the works in the Vic. I look forward to how this progresses surely with help from social services.

If Linda can't even stand up to Bernie's questioning how is she going to do in the witness box with an expert cross-examiner?! Loved Bernie daubing Sharon's house and calling her out as a murderer before the whole square while the rest of the 6 looked on from their doorsteps - how dramatic and a great taster for next week.
Poor Bernie though, she's only trying to find out who murdered her brother and buried him under the cafe she worked in. Who can blame her? So why do I really not want her to succeed in finding out the truth? And let's not forget that she'll have her own conscience to deal with as wasn't she the one to alert Phil which started the chain reaction?
Kojo is an interesting addition and I liked his and George's scenes but don't you think that George should have at least consulted Elaine before offering to take him on? He has complex needs as seen in the breakfast 'I'm not hungry!' scenes. How's Ollie going to cope with him and woe betide he picks up the taxi! And how is Kojo himself going to cope with the madness that is the Vic downstairs AND upstairs with e.g. alkie Linda bombing round the place too?
Colin Salmon is such a good actor, he conveyed so much on his face when he too ended up gripping Kojo's arms too to try and calm him down after he'd been castigating Kobina. Glad he made his peace with Kobina though and more importantly stood up for himself against his accusations.
Good week, looking forward to next week.

There is someone on there who's really got a bee in their bonnet about it not being the 'nicer' form of autism!! That he's 'rude'. FFS, you couldn't make it up. I think it was on the daily episode thread for the day that Kojo had his meltdown. They were really verbally cruel. Well done Colin Salmon for taking Sugar to task!

Forgot to say above, I'm not a fan of Penny by any stretch of the imagination but when Jack had a go and told her that she always messed up and the other kids came first (or WTTE) she should have reminded him in no uncertain terms that she's only in that wheelchair because of HIM being a bent cop so he's not exactly Mr Perfect himself.
