Yes, Pastor Clayton is no more! Angela Wynter played another blinding performance. We just had to have Patrick being swayed by the thought of another rum to stay in the Vic. Denzil to the rescue of his Aunty.
Bianca learned a lot about Debbie tonight speaking to Brenda. Debbie wanted out of the marriage because he was boring. Boardgames and spreadsheets says it all. I wonder what she will do next. I still think he was the one who put her in the coma. Inspector Bianca needs to find out.
I didn't quite get the Kojo scene apart from George being not in his radar when he had a mind to go exploring.
Don't get me started on sex in Beales & Eels yet again. The sooner this is found out the better.
Tommy has turned into a really nasty boy. Does he take that from his biological father.
Decent episode though.

Bafta award winning performances from Howard Saddler and Angela Wynter, Pastor Clayton and Yolande. And again Patsy Palmer shone in this episode. Loved her interaction with Brenda. EastEnders back on form.

Yolande has found her voice! She annihilated that man. Left him looking suitably shamefaced and possibly about to confess until Denzel disturbed them. I hope she doesn't feel guilty now that he's offed himself. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Bianca is continuing to impress me and TBH Kat's getting on my nerves a bit putting her crusade down to depression and not taking any notice of what Bianca's actually saying.
I too am fed up of Cindy's seedy affair. Couldn't give a stuff about Anna, Freddie and bird watching either but I suppose you have to sometimes take the chaff with the wheat!
Take bow Angela Wynter.

Excellent scenes with Yolande and Stella. Freddie is a plank. Line of the night goes to Bianca to Reiss "Old Meryl Streep over there!"

Best line of the night was 'I've got leggings older than you.' Another masterclass from Angela Wynter. Next episode is Friday as not on tomorrow due to the interview with Boris.

More to the question why is the BBC giving air time to this bag of wind?

Line of the night "Trombone Playing Jeffrey Dahmer" and "Creepy Reissy!" and Reiss saying "You know full well I play the tuba!" Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but was Angela Wynter a little over acting tonight? Less is more. So David is back, how many more returns are we going to get. (shrugs, rolls eyes) Although on the whole a decent end to the week. Star of the week Patsy Palmer.

Yeah, I'm agreeing that I'm now getting a bit bit fed up with Yolande. She needs to accept small mercies.
I've always loved Michael French. The fact that he is gay in real life has no baring on his EE role and I look forward to his short stint which I believe is his first acting portrayal for a long time so well done EE for getting him back.

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought that Yolande was behaving a bit OTT. I kinda get her frustration that he's evaded being outed in court (and other victims coming forward) but ultimately he's gone. She doesn't have to go through an arduous court ordeal now, he's paid the ultimate price - he's dead. No woman will suffer at his hands again.
As a Christian woman she's probably feeling a bit guilty thinking that her dressing down led him to take his own life so may be struggling that way but she needs to be kind to herself. It wasn't her personally, it was that he'd been found out and his ego couldn't cope with the public humiliation.
David's back and looking as gorgeous as ever. Just keep him out of Cindy's clutches please.

I did smile at Cindy's throw away line "Thank god the gunman couldn't shoot straight!"
Michael French stepped back into his role tonight effortlessly. As much as I dislike returns (and EastEnders need to watch this as it is getting silly) good to have David back if only for a very short while.
Patsy Palmer put in another stonking performance. A great Duff Duff.

Michael French just slipped gracefully back into the role of David. He loves to eat when he's acting and we got to see that again tonight sneaking chips off Bianca. He got rid of Reiss even if it's for a short time. Cindy is all a flutter seeing him again but someone should tell her he's not back for good and there's a woman called Holly phoning him. Junior's not too happy that she turned down his high class hotel room. Ian just hasn't got a clue about the female sex. I can't wait until he sees David. Denise is going to spill the beans about Chelsea being the culprit.
Good start to the week.

Things happened last night but I was too busy swooning over David to take much in lol! That man is ageing like fine wine. But I digress. Bianca does seem quite manic but it doesn't mean that she's wrong about Reiss. And even though I want to put earplugs in when she starts screeching I can't deny that the actress is playing a blinder. Really enjoyed her and David's scenes. Ditto the David and Reiss scenes. Was quite a good idea to get Reiss out of Bianca's orbit. Good scenes between George and Cindy, I don't think he knows half of her crimes and misdemeanors! We saw just how important Junior is to Cindy once David arrived - 'Junior who?'. He's a distraction from her boredom nothing more yet I think he's falling for her. Anyway, she was all dolled up for David at the end ready to come back from the dead - again. I hope he keeps her arms length but who knows ...? How has Ian found so many women to marry him?! He's so hapless when it comes to women but I do feel a bit sorry for him when it comes to Cindy. From the scenes we saw in France it looked like she was treating him a lot better, was affectionate etc yet now she's got more than just him she's back to her old cheating ways and treating him with disdain most of the time. Yet the clot thinks she'll marry him? I mean what woman would'nt be persuaded by the huge effort he put in just mentioning it? Can't help but feel that Denise is a hypocrite if she's even thinking about dobbing Chelsea in after the Six.

I wish David would return permanently. A more menacing side to him was seen last night when he spoke to Reiss.

A really good episode tonight.
Best line from David talking to Kathy, "It's like the walking dead round here! Who's next, Auntie Pauline going to pop out of the launderette?!"
Why the hell given Amy's restrictions has Jack not got a commode from the NHS instead of carrying her up the stairs every time she needs the toilet.
Ian came up with a belter for his proposal, NOT! I just loved the looks on David's, George's and Junior's faces.
