I agree walls a very good episode, Eastenders back on form. The Walking Dead line was so funny and loved the Pauline Reference, if only we could have the wonderful Wendy Richard back. I do miss Pauline. Michael French owns every scene he is in and works so well with Patsy Palmer. They bounce off each other with ease. You would believe they are Father and Daughter. Michael French even made Michelle Collins bearable tonight. The scenes with Penny, Amy and Jack were very good. Jack is such an idiot. For saying he was part of the reason Penny ended up in a wheel chair, he does not show any remorse. Almost a classic EastEnders tonight.

Another good episode, we are being spoilt this week. The only downside bloody Freddie and Anna and that bird watching crap. A great Simon Ashdown script and what a Duff Duff. David's face at the end.

Has David left or is he going to appear tomorrow to tell Ian what he saw up the alley? I fear we won't be seeing him again though. The scenes with David and Bianca were great. He was eating again, lol! I wonder if he gets it written into his contract. We still don't know who Holly is. If he is there tomorrow then maybe we will or he comes back again in the future but I have my doubts sadly. I just love his character and Michael French. Tommy is getting worse by the minute.

Firstly, why would you sit in the middle of a busy square in Walford and expect it to be quiet? Shows how stupid Freddie and Anna are. Having said that they are soooo going to pick up something incriminating on that equipment just what? A barber shop choir to propose is soooo Ian Cindy being surrounded by lovers past and present (and maybe future) was quite funny. Phil was there when Tommy was lippy and a bit menacing to Kat yet stayed mute. Was it because Kat's been resolute about him keeping his nose out since they split up? He could really do with Phil tearing a strip off him at the moment because Kat cannot control him. I literally gasped when he punched her and, for Kat, she was eerily calm. Kat of old would have fought back, she wouldn't have stood for it. I feel like they're changing her personality a bit to facilitate the storyline? Her son is a bully, he won't stop and it'll get worse unless she speaks up. Best parts of a good episode was obviously my our David. He has slipped right back into character as if he's never been away. Lovely scenes between him and Bianca again. Patsy Palmer is also playing a blinder and TBH I've never really liked her character but feel for her now, especially when she cried after David left. But the ultimate best bit was David walking past and seeing the alleycats practically mating in the ginnel and the look of horror on Cindy's face! He knew she hadn't changed. What will he do?

What a cracking end to the week. Loved each episode this week. A splendid Simon Ashdown script. A shame we have only had Michael French for 4 episodes. Lovely scenes again with Patsy Palmer. So Cindy still loves George. I loved the ending with Joe, what a nice surprise to have Paul Nicholls back for that short scene. Well done EastEnders.

That was excellent tonight and I've loved the whole week. Michael French has been brilliant and I hope he comes back again some day. I had forgotten about Freddie's bird watching recorder being left in the Pie and Mash Shop. Who will hear the conversation though? My thoughts are that it will be Anna. So Holly is David's granddaughter and it was lovely to see Joe again. EE has been on fire this week.

I find it hard to believe David Wicks is supposed to be the son of Pete Beale, as they had nothing in common. David arrived in the show at Pete's funeral in late 1993. Simon Wicks' paternity was in question but David's father has always been said to be Pete Beale.

No David tonight on EE Thursday's episode was a fine swan song for him in case we never see him again. Him and Cindy buried some ghosts and they were never going to get it on again as she still loves George. So it's a bit freaky that she's shagging his son. Psychiatrist's dream! He was finally being the father that Bianca needs and would've taken her with him. He's reconciled with Joe (nice to see him again) and has a granddaughter who seems to like him. He even made it up with Ian a bit as due to Kathy's influence Ian decided to treat him OK instead of a bad smell (damn you Kathy I'd love for Ian to have heard about Cindy from David!) So now we just have to wait for that recording to be listened to and the inevitable expose of Cindy. Christmas perhaps? And please try and persuade Michael French to return again, he was excellent and the best episodes in a while. But I might be biased

Good scenes at the Fox-Branning house. Kitty Castledine as Penny is very good. I thought it a little odd with the personality transplant of Amy. Bored with the Panesar's and also Cindy and Junior, although I did laugh at Priya's comment, "Don't think much of yours." Also did LOL at Kim and her ding a ling comment re Jack. A half decent episode, but it was never doing to be like last week.

Yeah after the thoroughly entertaining episodes last week we are back to humdrum again.
When did Nish get out of hospital? He was supposed to be on his last legs according to the doctor.
It was only a matter of time before Denise spilled the beans about Chelsea being the culprit for the crush.
Amy has become a spiteful little madam. I know she is bored that she is taking so long to heal but she will. She needs to be reminded that she should never have been in the club in the first place as she was underage.

Monday: No David Well EE achieved the impossible, made me feel a bit sorry for Penny. The way her and her disability is being treated is disgusting. By her father in particular. Little madam Amy too but at least she has the excuse of being young. But both of them look at Penny PERMANENTLY in a wheelchair, because of her father no less, but no it's all about Amy healing quickly enough. No empathy from either of them. I get why Denise blurted out the truth seeing Penny being piled on when she knew she was innocent but I still don't know if I could do that to my daughter (would feel hypocritical after the six for start). I'd rather try and hold a mirror up to Jack and Amy and show how their insensitivity was off the scale and they weren't even giving her a tiny bit of benefit of the doubt etc. So Freddie's got the recording. Knowing that klutz he'll delete them. Apparently he's an expert in all things ADHD and is practically a doctor now too! EDIT: and Nish looks very well for someone supposed to be at death's door!

A couple of weeks ago Nish was being told that a hospice placement was the next thing for him yet here he is back on the Square drinking, plotting and scheming again against Suki.
Junior tells Peter that he was knocking up a woman in the office of the club when the crush happened. I hope Peter tells Lauren because she knows that Cindy was in the office. I hope she blows the whole thing to Ian to prevent the Square's answer to Henry VIII another marriage.
The episode was saved by the excellence of Zaraah Abrahams. Her outburst to Denise was outstanding.

Yup, agreed walls. Chelsea was a class act last night, really gave it to her mother straight and I can't blame her for that. She's a good actress too and I hope we don't lose her to prison.
I'm starting to think Denise and Jack deserve each other. She wasn't put off seeing how cruelly he was treating his disabled daugther (and also how he treated Amy during her self-harming) and he doesn't seem that put off that she kept the truth of Chelsea's guilt to herself for weeks while his family imploded. They must have one helluva sex life to override everything else, even infidelity!
I liked Kim last night, she's decent. She calls herself 'the Kimfluencer' but that's in a shallow social media way but she really did influence Chelsea last night so perhaps the name fits after all.
The inconsistencies with Nish are doing my head in, he should look a lot sicker than he does, be out of breath etc yet he's walking around looking as fit as a fiddle! And how many more times are Suki and Eve going to trash talk him in public without checking that the coast is clear?
And I know Nish is a bad man, but Suki's no angel either and I feel her crimes and misdemeanors have been forgotten/downplayed because some people have a couple to 'ship'?

So Nish got Eve's Mum attacked to prevent Suki from going up to Yorkshire. What a complete scumbag.
Loved the Fox/Branning jury tonight for the sentence for Chelsea. Nice one Amy and Jack (because he wants Dee back in his bed) with the deciding vote. Take that one Penny but she will definitely be out for revenge going forward. Ultimately though she was the manager and should have ensured that all emergency exits were available and actually called a halt to folk getting into the club which given her disability would have been difficult to do but once she asked Zack it was already too late.
Kat's hiding out at home because of the injury inflicted by Tommy who has turned into a right little shit. Skipping school and filming a lady falling over in the market. Come back Alfie quickly!

Tues:
Zaraah Abrahams star of the episode, superb. Penny grabbing Chelsea and throwing her into the rubbish was quite an effective scene.
Why does Nish over hear everything? The Panesar's are now a bore apart from Suki.
Overall a decent episode.
