Chrissie's mother died about 4 episodes into season 9 (the very best season in the whole show as far as I'm concerned) so I'm assuming you are referring to the time when they were both shagging Owen and similar which was around Season 6. The HolbyOaks years as i say which were just dreadful.
You missed a lot of good stuff season 8 and 9 and again seasons 13-15. I actually think it has been pretty poor the last 18 months or so although I've liked this recent stuff with Jonny and Serena's mother getting Dementia and dying was very good as well although a little upseTting for me personally as it ran parallel to me going through very similar with my mother. Indeed, 'Mummy Dearest' which was when we saw how badly Adrienne had got since her last appearance transmitted the day after my mother's death in September.
Just realised, this would possibly be better on the main discussion thread. No harm though.

Holby City Spoilers 12th May 2015
Airs Tuesday, May 12 2015 at 20:00 BST on BBC One
Mo is avoiding Adele, still annoyed that she told Clifford the truth. Adele resolves to mend their rift, but initial attempts at reconciliation end in them squabbling on the ward. Elliot is concerned and issues an ultimatum - if they don't sort out their differences, one of them will have to leave Darwin.
Keen to get back in Mo's good books and to help her achieve closure with her father, Adele makes the impulsive decision to call Clifford and ask him to give Mo another chance. Will her actions right past wrongs, or will they exacerbate an already emotionally volatile situation?
Meanwhile, Zosia is pleased when Guy says that he will consider giving Annabelle's trial the go-ahead with the right candidates, but she is thrown when she learns that Annabelle's tumour has grown. Instead of looking for suitable candidates elsewhere, Zosia reckons they have the perfect candidate at Holby - Annabelle. Annabelle disagrees, arguing that it would call into question the validity of her research. They are on the cusp of human trials and if her personal stake in the research were to come out, they'd be open to accusations of a conflict of interest.
Zosia accepts Annabelle's decision that the best way to proceed is to speed up the trials, but Guy throws a spanner in the works by putting a halt on all neuro funding just as Annabelle begins to display symptoms of her condition.
Elsewhere, aware that Guy's neuro funding has been rescinded, Raf sees an opportunity to impress Hanssen and possibly secure a piece of the funding pie. However, when a dog walker patient has a visitor of the four-legged variety, canine chaos ensues.

Honestly, elliot states that Adele and Mo must sort things out or one of them will have to move wards bit not once was this threatened last year during the Bonnie/Jonny/Hac battles and worse during the custody battle when Jonny and Jac were daggers drawn and he was exciting the other Nurses to send her to Coventry to 'punish' her - even though he was the one that said he wanted sole residency and for her not to even have visiting rights and started the proceedings.

Ooh Bonnie/Jac/Jonnie fight? Please tell me more kitkat. Thanks for your post above about Chrissie and her Mother. I didn`t know she died. I remember her having breast cancer, but thought she was cured.

Ooh Bonnie/Jac/Jonnie fight? Please tell me more kitkat. Thanks for your post above about Chrissie and her Mother. I didn`t know she died. I remember her having breast cancer, but thought she was cured. There wasn't ever a physical fight but there was months of Jonny flaunting his relationship with Bonnie in front of a heavily pregnant Jac and then when Emma was first born and in NICU. We also had Jonny encouraging a Patient to make a complaint against Jac so she'd lose her job and not be in a stronger financial position than him to dictate stuff like which Nanny they hired. We also had Jonny getting a promotion solely so he could organise shifts and threatening Jac with double and night shifts constantly. To be fair, jac made her dislike of Bonnie quite obvious too (though she had good reason in my opinion) and of course can be bitchy so not blameless. It was all really, really nasty and disruptive to the Ward and not once was anybody threatened with having to change Ward if they didn't keep their personal arguments out of work time as they should have been. Yes Tricia did beat Breast Cancer, twice in fact. The episode after getting the all clear the second time she remarried Mark and then was involved in a car crash on their way to their honeymoon and killed. Mark was found to be over the limit (even though the other driver admitted liability) so lost his licence and went into a downward spiral which lasted months and involved becoming addicted to Cocaine. Oddly enough, talking about all this, Sharon Maughan has just popped up in the Morse i'm watching as i type!

Sorry, I'd genuinely misunderstood. Ah well. Sorry KK didn't mean you got my hopes up. I misread Chizzy's tweet. Mind you she did have to correct herself as she may have lead people to think Lauren Drummond was back at HC when in fact she'd just returned to Twitter!

Yes, unintentionally she got a lot of people's hopes up i think - hence the prompt clarification. Does make me wonder if there was something to her "goodbye, or is it adieu" comment to Michael Thomson after his final episode - perhaps Jonny is coming back?

Holby City Spoilers 2nd June 2015
Airs Tuesday, Jun 2 2015 at 20:00 BST on BBC One
Jesse is looking forward to a short break away surfing with his friends, where he'll introduce Adele for the first time. Suddenly, events take a turn when Adele faints. It's soon revealed that she is pregnant, which shocks Jesse. He has no time to process the pregnancy as Guy offers him the job of a lifetime - a three month fellowship as his right-hand man. Jesse leaves Guy hanging for an answer.
Later, Guy pushes Jesse for an answer on the job offer, but Jesse insists that he needs more time - especially when Guy tells him that the fellowship is in the US. Overhearing, Adele is suitably annoyed, asking whether he wants their baby or not. Things don't improve when Adele is served some heartbreaking news - is everything as it seems?
Meanwhile, Fletch is adamant that he will give Evie a great birthday, even though he is strapped for cash. However, what he needs to understand is that she doesn't care for monetary things and simply misses her deceased mum.
Elsewhere, Serena is determined to take the next step with Angus, but realises that maybe he's just not the right guy for her when they disagree on a patient's case.
