Tyrone does bear a slight facial resemblance to Terry as well, and similar hair.

Imagine Tyrone being the half brother of Sophie and Rosie and Jack, and the grandson of Bill Webster? Would have made more sense if Terry Duckworth was Tyrone's real father. Imagine if Tyrone found out he was actually the grandson of Jack and Vera.Carla Connor (nee Donovan) was not just one by marriage but also blood, when Johnny Connor was said to be her father. Wouldn't surprise me. But I would like to see Nigel Pivaro back again, and Terry to find out "Tiirone" is son. Not that would bother Terry, he would probably try and still rip him off. Would be a good opportunity to bring back Tommy Duckworth and Terry's other son Brad Armstrong (who hasn't been seen since 1997).

As good an idea that as previously discussed, Ken found out Albert Tatlock was his biological father. Albert and Ida had a ONS in early 1939 when Frank was away at sea.
As you said Eddy, Ken always saw Albert as a father to him than Frank. I doubt such a storyline would ever come to fruition though. And Peter looks like Frank.

As you said Eddy, Ken always saw Albert as a father to him than Frank. I doubt such a storyline would ever come to fruition though. And Peter looks like Frank.Well it wouldn't have the same impact seeing as Frank died back in 1971 and Uncle Albert died in 1984. It is too late seeing as Ken is a really old man now and hardly anyone remembers these characters. Even Peter never met his grandfather as far as I know and didn't know he was dead until 1975. If Corrie was more soapy back in the 1970s with the need for "shock" twists, no doubt this storyline would have happened. But I do prefer the thought of Albert being a father figure to Ken instead of biological, even if it makes good subject matter for fan-fiction.

12 years ago today Betty Driver died, and in 2012 it was said Annie Walker bequeathed the Rovers to Betty in 1984, a sloppily researched storyline.

Not even sure why they did that tbh. Amazed the more long standing cast members went along with it.

Not even sure why they did that tbh. Amazed the more long standing cast members went along with it. Emily said in 2012 that Annie owned the pub but the viewers are not idiots, yet Collinson treated us as if we were and I guess the writers had to do what Phil wanted. Annie only ever owned the tenancy, not the actual building. I wonder if the brewery offscreen had a final say on it and voided the bequest. But in the 1984 episodes, there was no mention of any will. Billy took over the pub in July 1984, and kept cutting corners so handed the tenancy back to the brewery, and Bet took over the tenancy. 10 years later she wanted to buy the pub with Rita but in the end Rita backed out. Betty knew all about it yet kept quiet. I wonder if the brewery voided the will, or as you yourself once suggested Roverman, Betty sent Annie a letter offscreen declining the offer. But a copy of Annie's will was in Betty's belongings so she must have known in 1984, and kept quiet all theses years. It kind of trashed her character as she was quite a loyal lady. Betty allowed her best friend Bet to struggle once Alec left in 1992, and allowed her to struggle and give up the pub in 1995.

Dangerously underrepresenting people with disabilities, the producer has rushed out and picked a lad who lost BGT the other year.
Jack Carroll has cerebral palsy and uses a moving frame. He will come in as the “long lost” son of jailbird Rob Donovan and for inexplicable reason he decides to look up his Aunty Carla!
The show only has the following people living in a small district of Weatherfield with disabilities;
Izzy aka Wheels-ED Jack Webster-amputee Paul-muscle loss caused by terminal MND Nick and Shona-brain injury David-BPD Alex-Downs Syndrome Aled-profound hearing loss Carla-psychosis
You can see the urgency can’t ya?

Will Corrie introduce their first disabled serial killer?
I hope this means Rob makes a guest return, but it seems unlikely.

It’s a pity Paul is gay. He and Wheels could be become lovers and go on a rampage together 😂

Hopalong Jack Webster could get a gf, then she goes to the bathroom in the night, and he mistakes her for a burglar, so shoots through the bathroom door 4 times.

In 1993 the only disabled characters were Maud Grimes, and hopalong Don Brennan after his car crash.

Yes. It seems Stephen managed to jot down in his journal Gail and Audrey’s concerns from 1986/1987 which is amazing as he didn’t even exist as a character before 1988 and the photo of him Audrey had didn’t resemble Todd until 1996!!
