Been annoying me for a while, I have tried everything to work it out, including watching clips, wikia and even the official website. However nothing states what there value was. I know Chris tate was around 3 Million, and Appernetly, Tom king according too Cain Dingle I think, was worth a lot more than this. But this is all I have.
Any help or opinions?

The Tate's, King's & White's were all self-made millionaires... They seem to have got their wealth through blood, sweat and tears... Hard graft if you like...
Can't remember much about how Declan Macey got his money... But I think his dad had a bob or two...
That leaves the Wylde's, who again never seemed to do anything to earn a crust... I'd imagine that all their wealth was inherited... So my money is on them...

I just read that Mark faked his disappearance from his old life, and committed bigamy, (I forgot about this) so I think he must have been a self made millionaire too. I do think he could have been the richest however.

What always intrigued me is that when the property moved back into private ownership that it retained the name given to it by NY Estates, and it didn't return to its original name, Miffield Hall, a name it had held for 400 years.
Could we add George Verney to the list? As a 'nob' he would have been fairly wealthy and for the last 4 years of his life he lived in Cannes, can't exactly live there if you only have £4.50 in the bank!
Declan was always an enigma to me, and a man who liked to play both sides, to his advantage. At one point he seemed to be romancing Natasha AND Faye, as well as still being married to Ella and then made a move on Alicia, busy man! Not sure if Dermot was rich though as I recall Declan trying to bribe him to not stay at Home Farm!

Duggie Ferguson must be a multi millionaire as he gave Robert Sugden £500'000. I reckon Duggie Ferguson or the Wyldes are the richest.

Yes I forgot about him, I read somewhere that Lawrence White remembers him from a little boy, so that's a great nod to the shows history Edit: not sure how to add him to the list?

Turner and Joe Sugden owned the manor for a brief period in 1988. They struggled to raise cash for the loan so cut down many trees to raise cash and when they organised a big bucks shoot with a London stockbroker, Turner got drunk and was done for drink driving. Denis Rigg tricked Turner and Joe into selling their shares at a low price. Then when he was killed by a bull, the Tates took over as owners.

A bit off-topic, but I remember when Cain punched Chris Tate in his wheelchair. Glorious that was, and so un-pc.
I remember when Rodders wanted to buy Home Farm, back when he was a millionaire for a week. He'd have been great in there, would probably have turned it into a seedy Playboy Mansion, full of scantily-clad sorts, whilst wearing a dressing-gown all day.

I think Alan was a bit well off towards his end, but I didn't think he was loaded. On the point of Joe owning home farm, I can imagine Robert foaming at the mouth if he thought he could make a claim for it.

I remember George Verney when Emmerdale Farm first started. His wife had an affair with Jack Sugden Mk1. And talking of Jack Sugden Mk 1, the current Robert Sugden in Emmerdale looks a lot like Andrew Burt who played Jack Mk 1. Some good casting there.

Yes but I doubt anyone on the Emmerdale team now knows who Andrew Burt is....

When Robert returned and was banging on about his "mother" Sarah Sugden I was worried that he may have said that Sarah was his birth mother when we all know she wasn't. Hopefully such a continuity error will never happen but if ever it did, it would be bigger than the Ramsay Retcon in Neighbours. I wonder if the current team even know who Pat Sugden was?

Also haven't heard of the Ramsey recton, what is it? Sounds interesting

Most respective shows on Emmerdale only show events from 30th Dec 1993 onwards. Corrie or EE would never do such a thing to their history.
The show was on our screen for 21 years, 2 months and 13 days before 30th Dec 1993, yet they may show a 3 second clip of Jacob's funeral then jump to planecrashgate onwards. Dingles, Kings.
