I am really looking forward to watching this when it comes to FX in March. It stars Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis, and Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford.
Some more stuff about it here

Ah yes, I read about this. Could be good. Trailer doesn't look bad. I see Ryan Murphy and Jessica Lange are continuing their partnership from "American Horror Story". Ryan Murphy really has become the king of anthology TV, hasn't he?

I hope they get to do a season about Tupac and Notorious BIG's feud because that was the feud everybody was interested in when I was a kid . You couldn't go a week without talking about those two in my estate/school. And everybody had their own theories about the nature of Tupac's murder and whether he was really alive. I personally didn't get why people were so fascinated by it, but that's teens for you.

Teekz ....you know more about Hollywood people than I do.I don't have a clue who Ryan Murphy is. And it just goes to show how much I watch US telly. Apparently we don't have the FX channel. Oh well I'm sure I can find that show somewhere on the interwebs.

Brilliant isn't it? I watched 2 episodes on Sunday night and was very impressed, especially at Susan Sarandon who remarkably encapsulates Bette Davis. The time flew by. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the episodes now.

Yes it is brilliant Lottz. I can`t even say which character was better because both Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon are superb in their roles. Getting ready to watch episode 2 now. Had to change the batteries in my wireless headphones. Tut.

I've taped this, is it any good?
I wondered if it would be a bit 'too American' for my tastes, if you get what I mean.
I haven't seen Jessica Lange in anything in years, but she was a seriously good looking bird back in the day. Susan Sarandon is always very good whenever I've seen her in anything too. So I recorded it on the strength of those two.

It`s excellent Unk. If you like nostalgic Hollywood shows/films like Mad Men...you will really love this. The writing is excellent, and the costume department did a superb job of making the 60`s come alive again. As you know I`m not one for American telly. In fact the last American series I watched and loved was Mad Men. And it`s been quite a few years since that was shown on the A&E channel here. About 5 years ago I think. Another costume drama I liked was Boardwalk Empire...although it was just a bit too violent for my liking. Go on Unk, give one episode a go - see if you like it. You can watch it on iPlayer while you wrap your little Princess Tilly`s many Christmas gifts. Although I have no room to talk. I`ve got 2 bags chock a block full of cat and dog treats for my pets this Christmas....and my neighbours pets too. I went a bit over enthusiastic over at the Dollar Tree this year. In fact they had more animal treats on their shelves at the DOllar Treethan Walmart and Big Lots combined.

Cheers Wav, I'll give it a whirl then.
Yeah I've spent a fortune on the rogger, as per, and they're all wrapped up for her to open. I also bought a stocking each for all of my chums roggies too (six of them) and filled them with treats. I don't even send any bugger a card, but always buy tons of treats for their roys.
I've been shopping this morning too.
I bought myself 3 kegs of Old Speckled Hen Ale, 3 kegs of Adnams Ghost Ship Pale Ale, 2 crates of Strongbow, 1 crate of lager, a bottle of Cockburns Port, 2 bottles of Bristol Sherry, a bottle of Brandy, a bottle of Vodka, 6 bottles of White Wine, and 3 boxes of crisps.
For the Dragon I bought 20 tins of Diet Coke and a bottle of Baileys. Which was thoughtful of me.

Awww that's lovely Unk... Buying the 2 crates of Strongbow on the off chance I might stop by to join you all in a Christmas drink. Lol. I've hidden 4 of the kegs and a crate of Bow in the shed Wav - so the Dragon thinks I've only got one of each. My plan is to swap the kegs when they're empty so she thinks I'm still drinking the same one. That way she'll praise me and see me in a good light. "Fair play" ... she'll say, ... "You're making that keg last and drinking sensibly.""I'm proud of you."
