Thanks Zeus. I have heard of the app, but doubt its available for my Kindle Fire HD tablet. Hardly anything seems to be available on Kindle Fire unfortunately. My Tunnelbear account isn`t available on Kindle Fire....only Android or Apple products.

I think Neighbours is dying a death. It struggles break 1 million viewers. Viacom don't want to spend billions propping up another channel. I agree it is a lot of money, too much for a soap. However Neighbours is always in Channel 5's top 20 and with the combined lunch time and evening showing it gets just under 2 million. If you look at the ratings for the soaps Neighbours is currently in 5th place ahead of Hollyoaks and Home and Away. 1. Coronation Street 2. EastEnders (sometimes 3rd) 3. Emmerdale (sometimes 2nd) 4. Doctors 5. Neighbours 6. Hollyoaks 7. Home and Away If 5 decide not to have Neighbours their share will take a tumble.

25 years ago Neighbours and H&A were getting around 14-15 million an episode. Those days are long gone now.

Maybe if the producers got some of the cast to stay in Erinsborough, and not go swanning off to London - then perhaps they can keep the production costs down enough where Channel 5 doesn`t have to pay a Kings ransom for the show. And culling the cast would save money too. Yes I`m looking at you Smelley, Sheila, Xanthe, the Tanaka brothers, Mark, and dare I say it.....Sonya.

And am even more shocked by the figures it gets. Know a show like Sherlock I understand the high figures

"Just a friendly wave each morning helps to make a better day." At least we will still have Summer Bay on 5.

Closer each day home and away. Unfortunately H&A is now unrecognisable.
Jason Donovan should be in H&A. His dad was and Jason once sung the H&A theme tune at a concert.

Who was Jason`s Dad in H&A, and what character did he play? I seem to recall reading something about it a few years ago, but I just can`t remember now. Old age must be creeping in.

Terence Donovan played Al Simpson - adoptive father of Bobby and father of Sophie. A nasty piece of work he was too. Rebekah Elmaloglou played Sophie and more recently Terese in Neighbours, who's father-in-law Doug was played by... Terence Donovan.

Thanks Lady V. Terence Donovan as Doug Willis....of course!!!! Now it`s all coming back to me. Yes I recall Bobby`s adoptive Father, what a vile man he was. I remember Sophie in H&A too, and didn`t care for her that much. Although I didn`t like Rebekah as Terese when she first came into Neighbours either - too bossy and domineering by far. But now she`s one of my fave characters. I`d love to see her and Paul get together. As much as I like Terese with Gary - her and Paul are much better suited in my opinion.

Excellent news. Thanks Holez. I`m glad Freemantle has finally seen sense. It would be like killing the golden goose. What ticked me off though was their disregard to the loyal British Neighbours fans. Their show were held ransom for a measly few quid. As I said before....if it wasn`t for the British fans, Neighbours would have been cancelled years ago.

I love Neighbours and the UK audience is keeping it afloat. Long may Neighbours reign. I would imagine lots of people with the surname Robinson and Ramsay born 1987-1992 were named Scott or Henry. And I bet many boys with the surname Donovan were named Jason in 1987-1992.
