Is today's EE a continuation of old EE?

I say a continuation.

People say it is not realistic any more and does not reflect London like it did. It does, just reflects the London of 50 years ago.

It still features the Beales and Fowlers and shows the same square and surrounding streets. It is the same show I am sure.

Up until Friday yes. I fear we won't recognise the show once some hipster takes over and does whatever the fanbois tell them.

Like Emmerdale and Corrie, Easties is still set in the same fictional universe and tells the same fictional story so is a continuation.
