I think Ken is going to croak. William Roache is probably biding his time for 3 more years before Ken hangs up his artificial silk kimono for good. It`s nearly 3 years away....any predictions??
Thankfully Fishwife Anna Windass will be a distant memory. I hope there are more Barlows by then. Would love to see some Tanners, but that`s hardly likely as Dennis never had any sons that I know of. I think he had a daughter in th eearly 70`s.

On 9th December 2020, me and hubby would`ve been married 31 years by then. Wow.

Bring back Trevor Ogden, Stan's son. He will be 70 in 2020 so could bring in a new generation of Ogden's. But no doubt they will all be schemers, serial killers, rapists or druggies within a year.

Ken needs to complete this book and get it published.
Get a reunion of old characters, including the return of Dennis Tanner.
Not that I want to force William Roache to retire, but he will be 88 in 2020. It would be interesting if Ken got a proper conclusion. Maybe he loses his mind somewhat and in his final weeks he reminisces about the past. Then in his home he has a flashback to talking to Albert Tatlock in the first episode, before going next door and having another flashback to his dinner with his mother and father and getting into an argument with Frank.
Hopefully we don't get any sensationalist stunts, we already had a tram crash in 2010 which was claimed at the time to affect characters for years to come but has rarely (if ever) been mentioned since 2011.

For the 60th, the two 10 year old girls who were singing outside the Corner shop in 1960 return as 70 year old women. They can say "We were singing one day when the lady was selling her shop to another lady and told her to get a signwriter in".
