Did anyone see the first episode of the new series this week...? I really like this programme and although it's slightly changed it's format from when it first aired... It's still a great watch...
This week was about a guy who had paid a woman for sex... (Don't we all in one way or another...) Next day he had photos of him with this prostitute left under his windscreen wiper with a note demanding £1000.00 He obviously went to the police...
They placed the money where requested and set up surveillance... No one came... So they started to do some digging...
It turned out the guy demanding the money was only a copper... Not only that but one they had assigned to watch the money that was left... So no wonder it wasn't picked up...!!!
Lots of other stuff comes to light about him as well... Definitely worth a watch...

Damn! Missed it Chaz, what channel is it on so I can see if I can catch up?
Sounds interesting, I had seen the trailer and knew I wanted to watch. Who would trust a copper?

I watched it. Shows that many coppers are the biggest law breakers around. I would not trust the police at all today.

Charley's on it again next week Aaron. This time he runs on the pitch at Wigan and tries to attack Sergio Aguero. He was pissed I think. Like when he doing all those canal murders.

Having watched my recording of this last night I was all ready to write a serious post about dodgy coppers etc but once again on this forum I'm sitting here laughing at you daft sods! Good programme, couldn't help but wonder what the hell that wimpy plod was up to? A grand? Hardly going to change his life was it? I was wondering if there was more to it, someone else pulling his strings? Probably not but I found it strange nonetheless. It was also quite ironic hearing the 'No Comment' refrain of the (usually) guilty as sin being used by a POLICEMAN! 'No Comment' was activated to protect the innocent from tying themselves in knots and possibly being framed/scape-goated by the often more educated/intelligent/corrupt police/CPS - yet if someone uses it now you just know that 99% of the time they've done it lol!

I liked the bit where he asked if his wife was going to find out... And they replied with... I think she'll notice when your house is being turned upside down... The daft sod...
Imagine sitting there watching the money that your suppose to be collecting... Now that's torture of the worse kind... I would have loved to know what was going through his mind while he was staring at the monitor... What a tool...

The rise of the police state. Today innocent photographers/camcorder users get stopped by police and intimidated into giving details. They think they are the law and they make the rules when in reality there is no law to stop people filming/photographing in public. And they do not have to be questioned by police. The police say the annoying bumf such as "in the current climate" or "if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to worry about". Today, 95% of people take pics/films. It is the norm so the police should spend time catching criminals, not being tough on innocent people. It is a common sense approach they need to use.

I did... A terrible unfortunate set of circumstances... But that's what mixing drugs and alcohol does to your mind...
I bet he wishes he had just gone home... Legally in a taxi... Or illegally by driving... Either way would have been better for that poor innocent victim...

I can't believe he got off with GBH with intent, that to me was attempted murder. If he'd just ran over the fella once OK, but he reversed over him FGS. That man's got life changing injuries yet he'll probably be out in 3-4 years. Grinds my gears it really does. I know that the CPS often go with a lesser charge to ensure a conviction but still ...

This is one of my favourite programmes and the first episode as they say the truth is stranger than fiction! Why the PC Plod would risk his liberty, job, pension, family and status all for a grand was jaw dropping but I suspect this wasn't the first time and he had probably blackmailed £'s out of previous punters. The moment they burst into his survelliance unit to confront and arrest him while he was surveying his own crime scene was tv gold!

Amazing how dodgy lawyers or the CPS downgrade the charges of a serious crime. The GBH charge was a joke. He should have got attempted murder and been put away for years and years. Poor Paul will be disabled forever because of him.
Lesser charges for stabbing, shooting, severe beatings may encourage people to do such acts if they think "slap on the wrist, a suspended sentence". Sentences should be tougher, not more lenient.
