Thought I would create a thread about this character who came in with such promise as the son of two of the greats, Chris Tate and Rachel Hughes and grandson of the late great Frank Tate. He played a blinder with the Dungles BUT he has U-turned into something of a slightly ridiculous fool. All this obsession with the sour faced personality less Twig-woman and his appalling treatment of Graham who he has obviously been with for years and is his only ally, not only does not ring true but is turning him into a prize prat. Now Knobert and Jumbo have quite easily duped this supposedly smart and savy millonaire businessman. Plurrse.

I have to agree BB... He started out so promising... But to let two retards like Jimmy and Robert have him over... Kinda begs the question just how savvy is he...?
I really hope all this is a double bluff... And he is playing the long con...
And just how much did he buy Jimmy's shares for...? It looked like 10k to me...?? That's a pitiful amount of money to sell your share of a business for...

Tom Tate has been totally ruined. Emmerdale tends to kill off legacy characters or turn them into complete evil assholes. And I mean Robert and Joe.

Oh for God's sake STOP following Debbie Dreadful around like her guide dog, Joe is now becoming more than stupid and almost comes across as a bit mentally challenged. A great prospective character totally ruined with this unbelievable obsession for this dreadful hatchet faced chav.

Joe for me has now turned from a twit with silly hair to a rather lilly livered unpleasant character. Quick to give in to as scary as a blancmange Connor to give up his longlife friend and mentor Oily to be murdered yet panders to the Dreadful Dingles at every turn.
