The Emmerdale Farm era is long since been eradicated which is a shame as it could have been good if we had the modern day original farmhouse in a modern form with the mod cons but rich in history.
Today the show is just too Americanised and gets more surreal and supernatural every day. I do blame Iain MacBollox for this. I hope Emmerdale can return to some normality when Iain MacBollox leaves. Shame The Bolloxmeister is heading to Corrie.
