As a Yorkshireman that's MrL's biggest beef with the programme - there's hardly any proper Yorkshire people on it. Most of them are from across the Pennines!

There was a time when the majority of the cast in either Emmerdale or Corrie were from the locale. The one stick out was Bill Roache as he’s from Derbyshire.

Dom may find out he has a Yorkshire born great, great grandfather and then say "Well I am a Yorkshireman as one of my great, great grandparents was born there". You have 16 great, great grandparents so it is a 16th of your ancestry. It is like an American who says "I am Scottish" when they have 1 Scottish born 3xgreat grandparent.
