I would have thought that would have been right up your avenue Lou. On a cold Autumn evening in front of the fire with a blanket snuggled up with a cup of Horlicks watching Strictly. I hate Horlicks, holey . How about a large G&T Lou?

I usually serve Horlicks to irritating visitors in my house. I hate Horlicks so I just assume most people dislike it, too. I'm like, "Sorry, I've run out of tea bags, would you like Horlicks instead?!" and give them a dirty look as they turn their backs. Satan drinks Horlicks. At least that's what I like to tell myself.

Hung out to dry wasn't he? I can't believe there's people out there who totally believe everything that they read in the papers. Just read a blog by Brendan Cole in Hello Magazine online (I know, sad as feck aren't I? ) He simply cannot understand how Danny and Joe did the same dance yet Joe scored 8's and 9's? and Danny 6's and 7's. He reckons the scores should have been reversed and he's outraged. Here's his paragraph about it: I'm afraid that Joe and Diane's Samba was less than good but yet again, the judges went into their 'We Love Joe' fan club mode… Judges scores 7-8-8-9? Wonder if they've gained anymore followers by now? Let me explain. We can compare like for like here… Danny JJ v Joe S. Two male celebs, both doing a Samba on the same night. Danny scored 6-7-7-7. If anything, you need to reverse these scores. This is a clear case of blatant favouritism in my opinion and it’s disgraceful. No disrespect to Joe as he just performed to his best ability an average at best Samba but giving 8’s and 9’s for this dance is a terrible injustice to the other couples. I'm actually outraged.I couldn't agree more. His remark about them gaining more followers because they're nice to Joe is interesting, the lad who has (I believe) millions of followers on YouTube and other social media. Hmmm. MrL is convinced that Joe will win due to his massive S.M. following. It's quite likely that we'll either have a ringer (looking at you Ashley, quite frankly I think Contemporary Dance is a pile of shite - just my opinion though, I just don't 'get' it so needless-to-say I hated it plus the X-Factor style sob-story before it) or someone who, for all he seems a nice lad, won't deserve it. Humph. Quality post there Lotz...
I hate contemporary dance too... It's a make it up as you go along load of shite... And yes that sob story was pathetic...
So what your dads dead... Join the club... Boo feckin' hoo...

Contemporary Dance though?
All I see is people running and jumping about, trying to run away and getting dragged back (on repeat), rolling around the floor like they're high (or horny) and 'dramatically' falling into someone's arms! It's supposed to represent love, loss, life, luck or whatever but all I'm thinking is 'bugger off'.

Anyway, I came to say that Danny didn't turn up for his ITT interview with Zoe earlier. The papers are having a field day with this and I have to say I did feel a bit sorry for Amy sitting there by herself and TBH I don't think that Danny has done himself any favours. Don't get me wrong, Danny looks like an intense person who I can imagine blowing a gasket due to frustration but bullying? That's a nasty word to throw around and mud sticks. I read a theory somewhere (probably DS) that the BBC could have engineered Danny's exit this week as Amy was going to quit so rather than have any more scandal they found a way to get rid of him. I was gobsmacked when three of the judges picked Graeme over Danny, were they nobbled by the producers to get rid of a 'problem' contestant? A salacious sex scandal's one thing but there's something dark and unsavoury about bullying accusations (whether they're true or not the word was out there in people's heads) so they got rid? Nothing would surprise me now TBH but this theory might be a bit far-fetched! But one thing that is bothering me a bit, with all the 'scandal' there's been this year e.g. Seann snogging Katya and then the tabloids for some reason turning on Danny, it might well put potential celebs off taking part next year. Contestants mainly all wax lyrical about the Strictly experience but it certainly hasn't been great for Seann and last week must have been awful for Danny! (though Seann might have enjoyed himself other ways as compensation )

The Twat Tweet has since been removed. That would have been more fuel to the fire of someone who probably feels they have been hard done by. Brendan Cole also blogged his disgust over the judges decision. I always thought SCD more 'real' than X Factor but definitely having my doubts now.

Nothing is real anymore in these type of shows... They put paid to the realism aspect of the voting off system... When they changed it from voting for who you wanted off... To voting for who you wanted to stay...

So Ashley gets a perfect score at Blackpool. Yes her jive was good but I thought the novice dancer Charles did far better with his samba.

I haven't even watched it yet but that makes me nauseous! Ashley's a trained dancer FFS. OK she might not have done ballroom but she'll still have a good grounding, strong core, know how to move etc and things have been very much in her favour this year with things like the new Couples Choice. She's bound to get to the final and I'll be FUMING if she wins. It's not that I've got anything against her, she just shouldn't be on the programme IMO. If a woman was to win I would choose Stacey every time. She really is a novice and has turned out to be very good. As for Charles, I love watching him dance, he's excellent. And very easy on the eyes

I also thought Gloria Estefen was shit on the opening numbers. The dancers as always were brilliant! I know she is 61 but she should just call it a day IMO.
