I don't think she is dead Wallis. Gina Mckee is very good in this. Another gripping ep. Can't wait for next Sunday. Yes, she was in Line Of Duty in Series 1. Jed seems to have a say in who gets to play certain characters I think. He loves Keeley Hawes too but then again she is one of our best TV actresses at the moment.

Wow I never saw THAT coming!
And it was rather naive of me considering the same writer brought in Daniel Mays for one (one!) episode of Line of Duty shockingly killing his dodgy character off at the end of the first episode (one of the best episodes ever IMO). And wasn't her out of Call the Midwife dispatched halfway through her first and only episode in another series? Out of a window IIRC.
We really should expect anything with this writer therefore I genuinely believed that he'd bumped off the two main characters in this episode and wondering where the rest of the series was going to go!
I still wouldn't be surprised if the Home Secretary isn't dead though. I think she'll be a miss in the rest of the series if she really is.

He does have a habit of bringing people back. He brought Keeley Hawes back as Lindsay Denton and Craig Parkinson as The Caddy. We have even seen DCI Buckells coming back. Something tells me though that Julia, the Home Secretary is dead, but prove me wrong Jed. I think the next 2 episodes are going to be about the net closing in on Budd and I still say that Chanel (the sacked assistant) and the bearded chap (at the Veterans Meeting) who picked her up in the car will feature again.

This has been bugging me. Is there any significance in the fact that David had bouff - ed up hair in the first 3 episodes and now has flat brushed forward hair.

So Budd knew where to find the kompromat and how to get into the flat by the back door.
One of his secrets is out but will they find out about the other one?

Thrilling, gripping and fantastic, that last episode is the first time I've been edge of my seat with a drama for a long, long time. Superb, well done to the BBC for an excellent work which has been long overdue.

And I thought Julia was still alive. How wrong can one be? Fabulous .

It was a tense and unpredictable ending. Although we all knew that Budd wouldn't die there was just an inkling of doubt involved for 40 minutes! So Julia was dead, I always thought so but did you see the dark haired person look out of the top floor window of Lorraine Craddock's house? I absolutely loved this drama and think Jed Mercurio is one of the best writers doing the rounds at the moment. Role on 2019 for the next series of Line Of Duty.

Yes, I saw that person and thought it was her . This series will walk away with every gong going and deservedly so. Maybe she is alive and we are meant to think that.

A splendid finale, never guessed Lorraine Craddock was a bad egg and what a twist with the suicide bomber from the 1st scene in episode 1. I am glad they kept Julia dead. This series has been a class act from the start only slightly dipping in the penultimate episode. I agree Wallis can't wait for Line of Duty. I predict a string of awards next year with a NTA, Bafta and RTS.
