Well who else watched this new drama written by Jed Mercurio of 'Line Of Duty' fame?
The first 20 minutes were pretty tense and there are lots of unanswered questions which is so typical Mercurio. I like the unassuming Dave Budd and his obvious PTSD and keen to know more about his back history. Keeley Hawes as always plays a blinder. Chanel is going to play a bigger role I'm sure as the disgruntled assistant. She obviously knows a lot more than she's letting on so far and what is her connection to the guy who picked her up in the car who was also at the Veterans Meeting?
Looking forward to episode 2 tomorrow night.

The first 25 minutes of Bodyguard were superb, tense, thrilling, it did loose some momentum near the end but a very promising start. I will watch the 2nd ep tomorrow. As for the ratings have not got a scooby. As there was no competition from ITV tonight it should rate well.

Another explosive episode, quite literally!!!
Twists and turns and so far proving to be my favourite drama this year.

I agree Wallis, i thought tonights was even better than the opening ep. You just knew they would end up doing the Okey Cokey. I don't think i have enjoyed a drama so much since the Night Manager.

Not quite so tense an episode tonight but still compulsive viewing. I think the question is who is using who and to what ends? Loving the way the BBC are using their own news team so frequently. It just makes it all seem so more real.

It makes you wonder how true to life it is?

I caught the first couple of series, and I did like it but it was one that i kept missing for some reason and kinda gave up because I kept forgetting it was on and I think it was on at a time I was busy...

Watched the first two episodes the other night. Wow. For the first 20 mins or so I didn't look anywhere else except at my TV! Gripping or what? Great acting from the leads.
Jed Mercurio is a fantastic writer.

Well I never saw that coming. Is this a ruse? Who is getting to Budd? I still think that the bearded guy at the Veteran's Meeting and Chanel who got sacked have more to feature in this story. The penultimate episode next week and episode 6 is going to be 75 minutes long. Brill!!!!!

I don't think she is dead Wallis. Gina Mckee is very good in this. Another gripping ep. Can't wait for next Sunday.
