Vanity Fair starts tonight. I would think it should do well hitting 5 million plus in the ratings but it is against Bodyguard on BBC 1 . Both shows are heavily promoted. A stella cast for Vanity, I am looking forward to seeing Frances de la Tour as Miss Matilda Crawley. I think it will be a highlight of ITV's Autumn season. I will probably tape Vanity and watch Bobyguard.

I'm not that bothered about this but might record just to see what ITV do with it.

Vanity Fair has been on many times in one shape or form so I won't be watching. The trailer of Frances de la Tour shouting in that deep voice "Miss Sharp is coming to town" I find rather irritating.

I watched the 1st Vanity tonight, it was okay but nothing to shout home about. Not sure if i can be bothered to watch the 2nd ep. I am sure it will appeal to some, not a patch on Howards End.

I agree Holey. I recorded and then watched the 1st episode but it didn't really hit the spot so to speak. ITV have spent a huge budget on it but it suffered viewing figures wise by Bodyguard.

I think we made the right decision to watch Bodyguard Wallis. The hit of 2018.
