Anybody watching Bake Off 2018? I have really got into it this time on 4. Getting used to Pru now. It was cake week and they had to deal with the hot weather and it was melting the chocolate. Some great cakes and some disasters.

No, I've stuck to my guns and never watched it on Channel 4.

I gave in and glad i did. Although I am pro BBC through and thorugh, its gone, its never coming back and i still want a slice of Bake off and Love and C4 are doing a good job, I don't like that Noel bloke, i don't mind Sandy, can't stand Paul but never did.
I have changed my tune, as long as we get the shows we love I don't mind who shows them now.

I'm watching Holey, but I did last year too. It's essentially the same just with different presenters and ads. When I first heard about Sandy and Noel presenting I thought someone must have been hitting the Columbian marching power, I really did, but I absolutely love them now. They grew on me last year and if I'm totally honest I think I like them better than Mel and Sue, they bounce off each other so well. Noel's a revelation. I also like Prue's 'sparkiness', I have the feeling she'd be a right one on a night out telling saucy/dirty jokes and admiring all the younger men while she quaffs some exotic cocktail Paul's the fly in the ointment to me. Can't stand him, there's an air of sleaze comes off him (MrL and me always wonder which younger woman he's going to hit on behind the scenes!) and if he was made of chocolate the bugger would eat himself. But at the same time I know he knows his stuff, he's a good critic and I enjoy the contestants reactions when they get one of his coveted handshakes. Thoroughly enjoying it yet again. I also watch the Jo Brand companion programme too. Bread week next! One of my favourite weeks.
