Starts tonight on channel 5. coyotepr.uk/tv/agatha-truth-murder-channel-5/Looks rather good. It was wallis who put me onto Agatha Christie tv adaptions a few Christmases ago, and I`ve been a fan ever since - as well as a fan of Sarah Phelps. SO this drama about the lady herself should be great. Thanks wallis I still live in hope there will be another adaption of 'Dickensian' one day. It was just too excellent to leave it for one series.

Saw half of this, and recorded the second half as we had phone calls interrupting. Good but as usual has to be spoilt by the usual swearing which is uncalled for, in those days they would have used bleedin or bloody notf**king. And if you ever saw Agatha Christie interviewed in her later years she was a very posh almost Edwardian lady and would have probably been utterly shocked at that kind of language. I am no shrinking violet when it comes to bad language, you should hear me in the car, but this is totally unnecessary use of the f word to try and look "cool" but just makes it sordid somehow.

Watched this afternoon. It was very good. I wonder how much of this was actually true? Glad I recorded this so i could skip through the ads. But a good watch, setting me up nicely for Boxing Day and the ABC murders.

I didn't watch it but have argued previously in the last Christie Drama Thread that the F word was used at the time. The Yanks introduced the UK to the word during WW2 and like anything from America it took off. Sad!
