It's the Television Academy Awards, the most important awards ceremony TV wise. Here are the nominees:- www.radiotimes.com/news/tv/2019-05-12/bafta-tv-awards-2019-nominations/It will be funny if Coronation St come away with the award for Best Soap & Continuing Drama, although they would be winning for Kate Oates work rather than Ian Mc Doo Dah. I think it will go to either Hollyoaks or Casualty. I hope Jodie Comer wins for Killing Eve.

I hope Hugh Grant wins something for his role as Jeremy Thorpe in "A Very English Scandal". I don't like Hugh much, but he did an outstanding job fair play.

Wow I see EE won a BAFTA. Good for them!!! Nope, not being the least bit sarcastic.... very well deserved. It's a swift boot up the arses for both Corrie and Emmerdale who didn't deserve it. I even would have preferred Hollyoaks to win over those soaps - that's how much I'm furious with with McBollox and Emmerdale. Congratulations EE, and congratulate Kate Oates. My goodness, that woman has the Midas touch when it comes to soaps. I hope with her at the BBC now I hope she can sprinkle enough magic onto Pobol Y Cwm to bring it to the forefront so they can compete with the other soaps. I did hear a rumour Kate is involved with PYC, but haven't heard anything else about it. Again congratulations to EE, the actors, staff and everyone. I'm chuffed for you I really am.

They fully deserved it Wendy and I'm not saying that as an EE fan. I watch CS and bob in an out of ED depending on what I'm doing but neither of those two deserved to win and ED wasn't even nominated which speaks loads about the show at the moment. It was a foregone that Killing Eve would win and it truly deserved to. I couldn't believe Jodie Cromer's accent as I didn't realise she was a Scouser. Her accents in Dr Foster and Killing Eve never gave that away.

Congrats to EE, I loved John Yorke's dig at Corrie for getting rid of Kate Oates.
“I must thank Kate Oates for leaving Coronation Street.” I smiled at Helen Worth's face clapping and smiling at the comments.
I am not sure EE should have won for last year, but it should win again next year for this year. I don't think they expected to win as there was only about 3 cast members there.

I'm still ticked off that 'Keeping Faith' didn't even get nominated last year. A small part of me thinks that there is a snobbery with TV bosses against Welsh people. I'm not being paranoid honestly. If 'Keeping Faith' hadn't done an English version as well as the Welsh version then I doubt if it had been shown on primetime. Although to be fair, if wallis hadn't mentioned it I probably wouldn't have watched it. Still no word if there will be a second series yet.

Some interesting winners there, personally I thought the Bodyguard was crap and Keeley Hawes deserves better material. Hopefully now the Durrells has ended she will get offered something better.
Gail’s monologue was truly excellent but that was one part of one episode. EE has been improving throughout the year and has probably been more consistently good/great hence why it won.
I think it’s telling that the likes of ED and Hollyoaks didn’t get a look in. The Academy clearly try and ignore shows that just try and aim to be good for one issue or storyline.

I found this on the Radio Times website Wendy - Filming wrapped on 20th February, and the six-part thriller will air from Sunday 12th May on S4C (as Un Bore Mercher) and will be available week-by-week across all platforms (BBC iPlayer, Sky and Virgin) with English subtitles. For fans outside Wales after the English-speaking version, Keeping Faith series two will arrive on BBC1 in summer 2019. An exact air date has yet to be confirmed.
