Wouldn't be surprised if David and Victoria are only back for Meena to be able to kill both of them. PETER HUNT...!!! Where have you been...??

I know we don't know the full story about the Race Row, but I just don't think ITV are going to be forthcoming about the truth unless a cast member speaks out. They are trying to cover it up and pretend no incident/suspension took place. Aaron Anthony wouldn't have quit his role so abruptly if something serious didn't happen. Which is why my post was so strongly worded. I worked in a place before where racism was covered up and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
ITV needs to be more transparent. They should admit the incident took place, explain which actors were involved and confirm if there was a suspension or not. But instead we've been left to unpick the whole situation by ourselves. Matthew and Isabel are the only two actors mentioned by the news websites, so it stands to reason they were involved. There is something going on behind the scenes, but they won't tell us cos it will expose a lot of people, I imagine.

My money is on Max Wall... Her and her wife are the ring leaders... Probably part of the Leeds division of the KKK...

I read in Mirror Soaps that Paddy and Mandy are to have an affair, not long broken up on the Classics and Paddy was devastated and wallowed in a pity party for a good long time; a contrived and rather unbelievable storyline that Mandy had an affair with her dad's carer when Lisa Reilly really was going on to other things. They were a good couple originally although both, especially Paddy, are almost unrecognisable 20 odd years on.

I wasn’t impressed by what they are talking about doing. They’ve had a storm already-it killed Tricia. Whether anyone recalls that on screen I don’t know.
What I’d be wanting to watch is good quality character led storyline that builds up in the days and weeks beforehand.
The only positive is that Diane might pop back.

Surely Marlon will remember the storm that killed Tricia... What a lovely evenings viewing that was... I remember it well...

They seem to want to negate the shows history before the autumn of 1994. Also have you noticed how when there is a Dingle marriage, the groom is always the one with the surname, so as to add to the amount of villagers with the surname as the bride will take the surname? And the women born a Dingle revert back to Dingle once they divorce, keep their maiden name as a middle name, or they never marry, so as to keep the Dingle name growing. Yet Sugden's remain very thin on the ground.

At least Rhona bucked the trend and has kept her own name. Wise woman.

Aaron changed his name to Dingle. I am glad Rhona kept her original name.
When Robert and Aaron wed, I was worried he would be Robert Sugden Dingle, or worse, Robert Dingle. Jack and his birth mother Pat would be spinning in their graves as would his adoptive mother Sarah.
