Today after my walk and cooking my supper for later I binge watched" After Life", written , directed and performed by Ricky Gervais.
I was laughing one minute and then not crying because I don't cry at things I watch but I was so moved by it . It had a profound effect on me, it being a study of trying to cope with grief. It was not depressing at all but I was immersed in it and had to see it to the end which again was so moving .

Loved the first series Lou. I laughed and cried (I cry at anything anyway!) so was sitting there like soppy mess some of the time lol! We watched it all in one go too. Like you say a study of someone's grief, them trying to cope and get their head around it was so wonderfully portrayed. I gasped at some of his actions, laughed at others, cried at others, gasped, cried and laughed at some others! But I never didn't feel for him trying to find his way in his new world. I also loved his dog. The only tiny fly in my ointment was that his poor wife seemed to exist entirely for him to play practical jokes on which she seemed to take with remarkable good humour, the woman must have had the patience of a saint because I'd have lamped him after the first few I'd like to have seen her do a few back on him. Saving the second series for when we can properly sit down and binge again because we won't be able to stop at one.

No, you wonโt be able to stop at one Lotty. I am not going to spoil it for you but just to say it was as good if not better than series one.
