Well to start off with, Donna and Vincent didn't really gel well tonight. It felt really forced. Although I don't know whether that was because it just feels very contrived and messy that Vincent has all these different connections to the Walford residents. He is married to one, has history with someone else, is the brother of another and the resident undertaker is doing his mother.
whats the betting Claudette and Patrick were childhood sweethearts or something!

Yeah, it feels forced. Too many connections to too many people. I cannot take Vincent seriously with those earrings he wears. And all this business with Kim and the mugger and the blood is just a complete load of garbage. I get a feeling I am not going to like the Hubbards much.

I'm prepared to give Vincent a chance, so long as he isn't forced into storylines left, right and centre in future. We know he's a type of villain, and I often find those types of characters intriguing. I'll wait and see where they take him.

Oh god, if they make him into Ray Dixon 2.0 then I'll take back everything I've said.

Do you remember him and his daughter who really loved dead people rays existence was a complete retcon too as Bianca said she didn't know Morgan's dad as it had been a one night stand.

Yes, Bianca was explicit in what she said too. Unfortunately, sensationalism reared its head once again and...duff duff....Bianca apparently lied!

I might have liked Claudette a lot more if she wasn't introduced as Les' little bit on the side.
Seriously, I do love the idea of a single foster mother and her kids arriving onto Albert Square as it opens up a lot of storyline potential. But from what I have seen of Claudette I have to say I find her completely unpleasant with her faux niceness towards Pam and also she was quite rude to Fatboy. Hopefully she will improve as we learn more about her.

Ray and Kim just seemed so mismatched, I think the same with her and Vincent. At least Bianca has gone, hopefully she won't be back for awhile. I don't miss her screeching.

I do like the concept of a foster family, not just not liking how it's currently playing out on screen. I am surprised that Mick wasn't one of Claudettes foster children actually! But he didn't seem to know Vincent or Donna so I am hoping that rules him out.

"RICKAAAAY" "TERRAAAAAAY" If she'd actually dated him, we'd also hear "RAAAAAAY" I can't decide which is worse. Yes, Kim and Ray/Kim and Vincent are just awkward. Opposites don't necessarily attract, these pairings prove that.

Yes it was kind of hard to miss the evidence that Vincent is linked to people on the Square but this is one bit of forced ridiculousness that I've decided to forgive as I really like Vincent and I really like Donna. I hope it works and they can stay around as I'm sick of new people that aren't Carters looking all promising and then being got rid of RIP Aleks
