England V Scotland, who will be watching tonight at 8.pm? I hope Jack Grealish will be playing. I could watch those legs all night.

I'm not really in the mood to watch Scotland being thrashed again but I suppose I will have it on in the background.

I wonder if Tommy Orpington will be playing for England tonight given that he is a legend in the NW.

Very disappointing for England but a good result for Scotland. Hopefully Scotland can win on Tuesday to qualify, England just need a point, so a win or a draw will be okay. However we need a win to top the group.

Scotland played a better game tonight and kept England more on the defence than they did in their last game. At least a point, bring on Croatia or maybe not.

Well Done England, sad for Scotland. Who are we going to get? France, Germany or Portugal?

I'm glad England won but my God the second half was like watching paint dry. I was nodding off in my chair and kept on getting nudged by my son Never going to get through the next unless they get a rocket up their arses. Shame for Scotland though, I have a soft spot for the team. I think Geordies/Northumbrians, being so close to the border, have a bit of an affinity with Scotland.

I sometimes think with being that close to Scotland you could feel more Scottish than English? It was funny I had to fill in a survey for something and it asked if I thought of myself as British or English and i automatically said British.

My gran came from County Durham, her mother was a Londoner but her dad was from Durham, he has some Newcastle roots and some Scottish roots, plus some ancestors from the Yorkshire Dales.

As soon as it is all over, we can get back to normal TV schedules.
