I have no idea why Simba left. Should have been whatsherface who made that disgusting looking slop that the dogs wouldn't even eat!

It should have been Marnie or Rochelle just for their disgusting lips. A final five girls yet again. I hope they make mincemeat of them all in the interviews as they usually do.

Part of me wonders if Lord Sugar cares anymore, more and more tasks he’s “phoning it in” at the beginning with video messages rather than turning up in person.
Has the gall to sit on Twitter saying people who work from home are lazy etc but he spends months abroad not in his office. I suspect he knows the business plans right from the start, and his people are working out the best person and then produce a show to cultivate that candidate so they are less likely to be on the losing team or be at risk of being fired.

I watched a programme about Katherine, the Duchess of Kent and what a wonderful lady she is. She quietly got on with charity work. She travelled to Hull every week to teach reading and English to children in a primary school No-one knew who she was. Sadly she had two miscarriages. No loud trumpeting of what she was doing quietly in the background. No, look at me . Aren't I good? Just a quiet dignity and got on with the job despite suffering from sever depression later in her life. Contrast that with another Duchess who shall be nameless. Chalk and cheese. Yeah all well and good but was she on the Apprentice, Lol!

I work from home a lot, as does my brother, and after our dad died we bought a house and rent it out, and often have to do paperwork and updates on that. Often working from home is great as you can keep away from nudnik colleagues, and nudnik bosses.

I’ve been working from home a few days a week for about 8 months now and I really enjoy it. I get another 30 mins in bed and I get 30 mins relaxation time every evening. It’s very good for the work/life balance.
I even get more work done as I don’t have people coming across to my desk asking banal questions all day long.

Claude is back - YAY, Karen now the interviewer as well gives her the chance to be particularly cutting and bitchy with her never moving face. Linda Plant the old bat with the short skirts is another one who does not give any constructive criticism but just revels in the chance to be thoroughly unpleasant to a hapless interviewee just because she can. Looks like Nicola Adams is heading for the win, if not I would love to see her give a right good uppercut to Lord Salty instead of the usual suck ups of thanks for the opportunity. I would love it if one of them just said F**k off the lot of ya.

Someone online yesterday, posted some very interesting information regarding Linda suggesting that she’s not a good advisor for business as she is not making much money at the moment!
I’ve always enjoyed the interviews because it is a ruthless process they need to whittle 5 down to 2 and in other years that’s been quite hard because usually by this stage the only ones left are the reasonable credible ones.
But this year, jeez, there’s been so many questionable firings and you have to wonder if the producers aren’t leaning a bit on Lord Sugar to ensure his process meetings all the tick boxes.
The fact that one of the finalists submitted a hash of a business plan because she only decided to do this 4 weeks before she entered the process spoke volumes to me as to why she should have been fired weeks ago and she’s actually now launched a completely different type of business!!
Of the final 5, I think he’s picked the best two really, you’ve got Rochelle with a small but established business, ripe for scaling up and you’ve got Marnie’s kernel of an idea that with the right investment and guidance could do very well, especially as she’s already got £350k of grants and loans waiting in the wings, which I think impressed Sugar a lot.
He’s got a tough decision IMO

The best two were picked business wise out of a bad bunch.

"Baroness Brady to you". "Sorry Karren". I should reply.
She reduced two others to tears as well.

They think we are Einsten, and they even ask very inane questions about if I know where a colleague is today if they are off work. Seeing as I do not live with them I am unable to divulge such info. Also I just cannot be arsed explaining things to them when they can ask the boss, not a fellow colleague. Bad enough having relatives being nosey and wanting everything explained to them. If they were not rellies I would say "I am not your personal info finder you know. Find out for yourself, I have better things to do".

Well that's over for another year, it seemed to me that Lord Salty didnt really want either of them. It really needs an overhaul for its return next year. 'REAL' people not Love Island candidates, all under 30.
