What actually is Alya’s job? Secretary, paralegal, office person ? She struts around as though she’s in charge of the place and just why did Adam make that grovelling apology? I think she was a bit of all 3 and keeps the wheels turning.

I think she was a bit of all 3 and keeps the wheels turning. I think because it was such a small practice she did a bit of everything and was seemingly under appreciated by Adam, who has been quite busy let’s be fair, and was run over by a car recently. I find her quite gobby and sometimes that has got her into trouble. I also think they react so powerfully to each other because they’ve got unresolved feelings for each other.

Lisa Swain is even colder than her distant relative Arnold Swain lolol.
I doubt the writers would make a link between the two, as they seem to not be into any Corrie history prior to the Connor arrival 2006.

The state of that 'filing' on that desk WTF? Did Alya deliberately sabotage it before she left as files should be easily found - if they're filed right. I don't blame Alya for leaving, Adam talked to her like shite, demeaned her in front of a client that she'd had to deal with as he was too busy trying to get laid and didn't appreciate her contribution to the company until she was gone. And as a solicitor if Adam didn't have a 'don't filch our clients' clause in her contract it serves him right for such a glaring error. But I don't approve of Alya stealing more clients as that affects DeeDee too and she's done nothing to her. Alya's made her point, leave it at that. So Daniel's the master crim who doesn't burn his parka or get rid another way - but gives it to a charity shop The Eco-murderer! Could Swain clutch at any more straws? I get she's got to ask about it but she could have just seen him in his house instead of a formal interview. No wonder he was scathing. How long is this storyline going to last? I'm sick of being exasperated by it already. I wonder why they've had Sean moving into Lauren's flat? Is he going to come across something? Trouble at door as someone thinks she still lives there?

It would appear that Mason is being held in custody as Liam made no mention of seeing him. This was not made clear at the end of his trial. His sentencing should be any time now. What has Carla got herself into? Eliza and Stu have gone

What has Carla got herself into? Eliza and Stu have gone Stu's coming back I didn't mind him at first but once they lumped him with the awful Yasmeen and foisted the dower granddaughter on him I went right off him because I had to endure those two. Delighted Eliza has gone though

I’ve done some digging and Arnold appears not to have had issue, he had a sister but she was unmarried and I’ve made the assumption she didn’t have kids either, plus back then they would have more than likely taken the fathers name and not the mothers. No other family appears to exist so I think she’s not an ancestor of his.

No other family appears to exist so I think she’s not an ancestor of his. Unless Arnold had a paternal line first cousin who was Lisa's grandfather. But that would be too distant to include a mention of Lisa as a relative of Arnold. It was different for Eileen Grimshaw being a 2nd cousin of Elsie Tanner nee Grimshaw as Elsie was an iconic character. Arnold Swain was memorable but not iconic. It would be like if they introduced a new character with the surname Langton, that did not necessarily mean he or she was a relative of Ray. Kevin Webster and Fred Elliott's mothers maiden names were Cartwright. But no link was ever given and it is quite a common surname. Corriepedia says Albert Tatlock's mother was a Duckworth by birth, but not necessarily a relation to Jack.

I wonder why they've had Sean moving into Lauren's flat? Is he going to come across something? Trouble at door as someone thinks she still lives there? It's a different layout to Lauren's flat... Her kitchen was to the right and Sean's is to the left...? Unless they've done and Ashley and moved the set around overnight...

Why did I assume he'd moved into Lauren's flat? Is it the one that Aadi lived in with that tart?

I am so bloody BORED with this storyline. I couldn’t care less about Lauren because we all know she will come back but I am looking forward to Swainy having egg on her face. My daughter’s married name is Swain and my son in law is called Swainy by his friends.
Maybe Roy can then sue for wrongful arrest.
Please make it stop…….

I see Royston Bacon Barm Cropper is now on hunger strike... Next will be his dirty protest... Although judging by the way he looks and by his old flat... I'd be struggling to tell the difference...
Bobby Sands will be spinning in his grave...

Just a thought. Why is Lauren not classed as a missing person? Is every missing person assumed to be murdered?
