Just noticed that ED and EE both have a thread for discussing the episodes so I hope I'm not taking liberties by starting this one on here Anyway, I'll start the chat, which might be more of a general discussion rather than about the episode so much *blushes* Michael - damn he's still alive. I tell ya I'm donning that Scream mask and am heading to Corrie to give the bugger a fright as soon as I'm finished here. Sarah - burn the witch! Quite disappointed as I thought I'd enjoy having her back but she's been a total let down not only being a totally ineffectual mother but also a treacherous bitch to boot by getting with Callum. I was hoping that Gail might have smashed her over the head with a bottle for her disloyalty but alas she's too busy making sure Michael doesn't spot a rouge chip or greasy bit of bacon lying about. Bethany - how come she went to Italy as a nice, quite quiet kid but has come back as the wise cracking, bolshie, selfish teen from hell? Callum - about as scary as a blancmange. How can you take a fella seriously as a baddie when it looks like he's wearing more eye liner than Michelle? Anyhoo, I did find Sarah and Nick mildly amusing when they were playing the grown up equivalent of 'Mum! Mum! Sarah/Nick's done ....' I do have suspend reality in that there's only supposed to be about 6 years between them mind! But other than that I quite like their scenes together. Why does David think that running away's going to help? But honestly for the life of me I can't see why he wants to keep that brat! It's not like the kid is terrified of Callum, just let him go to him, he'll sharp be wailing to return once the novelty wears off for the pair of them. The kid's another treacherous little git who's been bought with expensive presents so let him go and think good riddance to bad rubbish I hope Mary finds out that it was Todd who grassed her and takes her trusty chainsaw to him Why don't those gobshites in the Rovers just shut up and let Steve be with his new pet? FGS they know he suffers from depression, the dog might be great for him and make him happy! Or is he not allowed to be too happy Michelle? On another note though, does anyone think it's ridiculous when we have Sarah whining about being chucked out by David and having nowhere else to go? Er, Granny Audrey's? (even though she seems to have disappeared at the moment). She's got a big at least 3 bed house with only her in it. Nick? Must have a spacious apartment like Carla's with again only him rattling around in it?! Yet the PTB expect us to believe that Sarah will be homeless? Rubbish! It's cost cutting pure and simple. When was the last time we saw Audrey's house? Have we ever even seen Nick's flat? They just don't want the expense of making more sets (did they rent a house to film as Audrey's? I grew up in a house like that and it looked like the real deal house to me and not a set.)

Lots to discuss......anyone know what has happened to Dev. Really struggling with the Sarah and Bethany duo. The 13 year old looks older than the mother. I don`t know why they could not have found a 14 year old actress who can act like a brat. I love Corrie but with some of these recent story lines....the Micheal Gavin Story....so out there, one feels like they are in Fantasy Land rather than on the street. I also feel the Faye and baby story is unreal. Anna is a sad soul at good times, now being landed with a baby to be responsible for will put her over the edge. Clearly Faye is not the least bit interested in the baby. Anna appears to be working two jobs, trying to look after Faye, and now a mother to a baby girl....how does she do it.

Dev's gone off to India or something. Think he was donating money to some less fortunate kids (despite this never been brought up before) and has decided to leave behind his own children behind with the pair of loons so he can visit them. And now an uncle has died and Dev is the only one who can sort out his things, so is remaining for an extra two-months.
Callum is so tough and dangerous isn't he? Chesney got in his face and what did our frightening villain do? Muttered "Whatever" and walked off. David has done things like break into his flat and tried to stash drugs in his car, so Callum tied him up and left him in a warehouse, gave him a love bite on the stomach and gave him a ride home. Really hardcore stuff, this would terrify the likes of Alan Bradley, Jez Quigley and Richard Hillman.
Don't get me started on the stupid bint Sarah. Callum threatens her family and took her by the neck twice, but she is worried about losing him. Give me strength, her return has been poorly handled I don't know why they bothered.

So Sarah and Bethany have moved into Nick's flat. Hope the two bitches roast during the fire.

Oh of course Nathan, THAT'S why they've moved into the flat now. TPTB must think there just isn't enough drama with just Carla and Nick in there *roll eyes*
With a bit of luck Bethany's vocal chords will be badly singed, something needs to shut her up FGS.

I'm not surprised no one is talking about tonight's offerings - jeez One question - what does Tony or any of the conveyor belt of men she's had see in Tracey smiley-rolleyes010 She's a gurning faced idiot that truly should no longer be on this show. I can't see any point going over the shambles of the 2 episodes we've had to suffer so my concise summary is: desperate and ludicrous smiley-rolleyes004

I found tonight's episode watchable TBH. Not brilliant, not all that compelling as I was surfing the net whilst viewing too but certainly a reasonable way to pass about 45 minutes (recorded and fast-forwarded ads).
Perhaps I found it more enjoyable because I was having a break from Sarah and Bethany? I find even Sean less annoying than Bethany at the moment, lol!
Having said that though it should never have won the BAFTA in a million years. EE and ED are beating it hands down at the moment (can't speak for Hollyoaks as I don't watch it).
Tracyluv - when she said 'we' own half the Rovers. Er, does she realise that Tony can tell her to eff off at any minute and she can't do a thing as she hasn't paid a penny towards it? Silly moo, all this 'we' business *roll eyes*
Love Steve and his pet dog (no not Michelle! The four-legged cute one!).
I quite like the guy playing the Vicar - just a shame that Sean's his boyfriend.
When will Julie learn to keep her nose out?
Tim is endearingly thick but I thought that Roy would have told him that he could have taken that note to the bank and changed it?
Roy's far too nice to Anna considering how horrible she was with him over the Gary incident.

Wishful thinking. At least we were spared of them tonight.

What did we learn from tonights CS? The residents don't have a scooby when to put their wheelie bins out. I don't think the residents of Weatherfield know how to recycle, but then do they need to, when it is mainly chip paper and keebab cartons.

She should change her surname to Winslet.

Ha! Liz wants to ban the scary thugs because they said the bar maid at The Flying Horse was better looking.

Those thugs were really tough. I hope they don't come back. Corrie is getting almost too scary these days.

I am quite impressed with Tony. Working behind a bar by himself and somehow managing to prepare two hot dinners at the same time. Magic.
