I recently joined Netflix and entered 4 devices. All went well till I wanted to watch on my main TV , first time. I get a message saying this device is not in your subscription for streaming . I have no idea why. I went on a chat with Netflix. After 15 minutes he had no idea why. I asked if I had too many devices and he said no. He was foxed and so am I.

Have you tried signing out then signing back in again...? Yes, multiple times. The Netflix adviser couldn't help either.

I found out why. Previously I shared Netflix with my family till Netflix stopped sharing. It was only until my family took me off their list that I could subscribe under my own name , not sharing with family.
