I don't watch it but I feel sorry for Davood Ghadami. A decent actor axed from EE, given a job at HC and then told that it's being axed next year.

I used to love it but it seemed to go down a rabbit hole with too much emphasis on serial killer doctors and a merry-go-round of who's shagging who. Considering there's a hospital full of patients and their storylines the programme feels very small with the focus primarily on the staff, though I do understand that in recent times this is probably due to the pandemic.
Bloody shame though, I'm sure it could have been steadied again into the good drama it was rather than axing it altogether. Seems a bit extreme.
I feel for everyone who works on it who'll now be out of a job too, apparently they only found out an hour before it was publicly announced which is a disgusting way to treat employees if true. They should have had at least 24 hrs to get their heads around it before the onslaught.
Davood is particularly unlucky, let's hope that he's picked up by one of the two 'soap style' dramas the beeb is talking about making, one in the North ('to rival Corrie' - good luck with that) and one in either Scotland, Wales or N Ireland.

Also Angie Godard trying to recapture her youth by shagging a fellow doctor who is young enough to be her son.

I think I may one of the few watching, a brilliant ending to Holby going out with dignity and saluting our NHS. A great script, some wonderful scenes and a nice touch with the rolling credits. I have always preferred Holby City to Casualty. Sad to see it go.
